An enchanted forest inside the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium 🌿✨ The room is stately and formal, which made a garden feel even more unexpected. Greenery spread across the tables, candlelight kept everything warm and low, and lush organic florals were layered with elegant touches throughout. My fave! Even the stationery and place settings got the forest notes.  I love transforming a space until it’s almost unrecognizable. Immersive design was the goal, and this one was so immersive we forgot we were standing in an auditorium in DC. A farewell to summer luncheon with Occasions Caterers @eventsdar, where we gathered with planners across the DMV to enjoy the afternoon. Garnished with beautiful stonefruit arrangements by @amaryllisinc, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the Portico before being invited inside the O’Byrne Gallery for a seated lunch. Guests were served lobster salad with herb popovers, and for a sweet bite a selection of couture ice cream flavors including baklava, chocolate, and lavender. Cheers to a beautiful day and great company.
