It’s really challenging to find great Hermitage Rouge these days. This 2019 Colombier checks all the boxes. The Viale family produces small amounts from the appellation, with the core of their production coming from Crozes-Hermitage. If you love Northern Rhône Syrah this is one not to miss! by @permanwine

Within the Sierra de Gredos in Spain, the DOP of Cebreros is a really special place for Grenache. We have the full lineup from Marc and Telmo, who in my humble opinion are making the best wine in the region at their winery, Pegaso. I highly encourage you to try these! #wine #chicagowine #spain by @permanwine

I’m obsessed with the wines of @lavalledelsole in Offida. From an enjoyment perspective these check all the boxes, beautiful aromatics, incredible purity, complex and just fun to drink. From an analytical standpoint, I don’t think there is anyone in Offida doing a better job. The work in the vineyard, the ability to transmit terroir and the balance of the wines, which is no easy feat. Not to mention it is always nice to sell wine from nice people. Grazie to Alessia, Alessandro and Valeria! #LocalFlavor #Offida #Pecorino #Passerina #Montepulciano by @permanwine

The reference point for Pergola, Villa Ligi is an Aleatico specialist, and so much more! Always fun to preview the new vintages. Grazie! by @permanwine

First check in on the trip at Crespaia. An exceptional producer of Bianchello del Metauro, just 5 km from Fano. Working organically, this family business is one any fan of white wines should get to know. by @permanwine

Tuesday Feature: Excellent Blanc de Blancs from Pertois-Lebrun by @permanwine

There is no end to learning about wine. Not only was it my first time visiting Navarrete in Rioja, but it was also my introduction to Maturana Blanca and Maturana Tinta. The ferrous clay soil of the village and the indigenous varieties have been brought to life by @elena_corzana at her “bodeguita.” These are “must try” wines although I know @pyreneeswinemerchants will only be able to import a small quantity due to the tiny size of the winery. Thanks to Elena for sharing her project with us! #Rioja #Maturana #LaBodeguita #Navarrete by @permanwine
