I used to take criticism and rejections so personally. But over the years I’ve learnt that sometimes it’s really not about you, your product or your service. It’s just a matter of compatibility between what you’re offering and your client. ⁣ ⁣ And if what you’re offering is not what your client is looking for, that’s okay. As artists, we continue to work on what we are good at, and service those who appreciate what we do to the very best 🤍⁣ by @petalocakery

I’m just a girl who’s so happy she got her hands on @petalocakery’s highly raved mochi tarts! I really love how the different textures, especially the chewy mochi with the crunchy tart, holding the rich decadent center together… the flavours were also so, so inviting- handmade with love🥹🫶🏼 I gotta say… I usually am not a hojicha fan but hojicha mochi tart is my top favourite!!! Followed by the super fragrant black sesame🥹 Roasted Pistachio and Honey Osmanthus are really close fight too..!!! Ok I can’t decide. Oh yes they’re having their pop up next week, and they have these mochi tarts too!! Had the most fun 2 days with @petalocakery!🩷 Truly amazing to see how someone’s style shines through the creations they make🥰 2 years ago…this floral cake design would have taken *5 days* to complete in a workshop setting. Something I hear over and over again in workshops, is the long hours needed to make these flowers. I really completely understand. As someone who really loves to make flowers, the time taken at some point does wear me off as well. Especially when I am tight on time. That’s why I spent so much time in silence experimenting this new method. I’m so excited to be able to share my new 𝗪𝗞𝗖-𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗗𝘂𝘀𝘁™ 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 with everyone who needs it🥹✨ - 𝗪𝗞𝗖-𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗗𝘂𝘀𝘁™ 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 🌷 Saves you up to *4 times* the time while doing loads of different flowers (👀see previous posts). 🌷 Perfect for business owners who would love to do more flowers with lesser hours Available workshops: 1. I REALLY LOVE @petalocakery‼️🥰 they’re good at not just their mochi tarts but the tiramisu, cookies and even cakes!! PSA: My fellow fans of Pistachio, Black Sesame, Houjicha Osmanthus, Mochi or Tarts, YOU DO NOT WANNA MISS these newly launched Mid-Autumn Mochi Tarts by my all-time fave @petalocakery 🌙🥮 Who would’ve thought of defying the traditional Mooncakes & giving it an ingenious twist! Gotta say that they’re impeccably executed - one box, 4 of our fave flavors, 4 different delightful experiences! What I particularly love is the contrast of textures — crisp, buttery tart shell filled with rich, flavourful & minimally sweet filling of varying intensities, finished off with a pieces of soft, chewy housemade mochi. Every bite feels multi-dimensional in terms of texture & flavor. Each component freshly made from scratch using premium ingredients, these tarts are truly value-for-money & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to all! Perfect for enjoying yourself or gifting to your loved ones (who might have enough Mooncakes already)! 😉 ꕤ 𝐇𝐨𝐣𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚 🍵 MY FAVE FLAVOR!!! Made with Kyoto Houjicha powder, this has lovely distinct roasted tea & chocolatey notes with a mellow finish that lingers. Fragrant yet not overpowering, well-balanced with the mochi above to yield a beautiful harmony that satisfied all my Houjicha cravings! ❤️ ꕤ 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 💚 Another personal fave! The roasted pistachios are ground in-house into a rich paste, then layered with pistachio ganache made using 100% pure Italian pistachio paste. incredibly nutty, creamy & indulgent, a 10/10 MUST TRY FOR ALL PISTACHIO LOVERS! 💯 ꕤ 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 🖤 Made with roasted bssm ground in-house into a deep, nutty paste, then layered with a smooth black sesame ganache. This was another standout for me — rich, earthy, bittersweet & intensely nutty, there is this is truly for all bssm purists out there! 🔥 ꕤ 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐎𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬 🌼 Made with pure osmanthus flower powder & honey, this is the most delicate flavor amongst the 4, and I appreciate how it balances out the other 3 more robust & bold flavors in the box! Light, fragrant & naturally sweet floral taste 📍 Raffles Place MRT, Basement 1 Pop-up 📅 21–25 Sep, 11am-6pm 💰 $38/box of 4 PS: Don’t be sleeping on her tiramisu & cakes too! by @petalocakery
