CRSD Mondays. Each Monday, we highlight a story that reflects our values: Composure, Resilience, Self-Discipline, and Determination.
Those who share their stories receive a CRSD coin - earned, never bought - symbolizing the resolve to overcome and prevail, no matter how dark things get.
Today, we are proud to introduce NYC local legend Peter, aka @petergunz01 as the 26th recipient of the coin.
Here is his story.

The origins of Peter began with a kid who came from very little, within a New York City landscape that was a very different city from what it is today. A place where you had to roll with the punches, where only the strong survived.

Peter had found his way as a biker within a time where the true biker lifestyle meant a very different thing than it does today, especially within the confines of NYC. Through being fully immersed in that lifestyle, Peter eventually paid with both his time and freedom.

At a crossroads in life, Peter did what not many could do, which was taking a hard hand that life had dealt him, and found a way to turn it into a royal flush, choosing a path forward grounded in positivity. The song “Juicy” by Biggie starts off with “It was all a dream”, in so many ways the story of Peter is woven into the ethos that song. The dream for Peter would be going on to complete legendary build after build, that would help solidify what constitutes a true NYC custom performance bike build. Riding alongside legends such as @shovelhead98austin , @bad.foot and @bobbyseegerjr_ftw , Peter would help bring forth a new golden age within the custom bike scene here in NYC, both inspiring and leaving a breadcrumb trail for the generations coming up.
