Bringing this one BACK to the feed! πŸ‘»πŸ”₯πŸͺβœ¨ Me, my fan veils, the Ecto-1 πŸš˜πŸ‘», a crowd watching, people clapping πŸ‘πŸ½, and me having WAY too much fun! πŸ˜‚πŸ”₯ For this reupload, I had to bring back that old school hip hop energy 🎀🎢πŸ”₯ with the @rundmc version of β€œ Ghostbusters .” πŸ‘»πŸŽ€ Run DMC And here’s a fun family connection… πŸ‘€ My late-father, Eugene Ara Romanoff, played Santa Claus in Ghostbusters II. πŸŽ…πŸ½πŸ‘»πŸŽ¬β€οΈ So yeah… Ghostbusters has been part of my story in more ways than one. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘»πŸ”₯ Old video? Sure. Old school vibes? ABSOLUTELY. 🎀πŸ”₯πŸͺπŸ’₯ #Ghostbusters #RunDMC #Dance #FlowArts #hiphop by @phantomskyjojo
Last night at @bronxlandia was more than a performance… it was a reminder of who I am. πŸ’šβœ¨ Thank you so much to @larokafella and @djks360 for inviting me to be a guest performer with La Roka NYC. Sharing the performance space with such powerful artists, pioneers, and true historians of street dance culture was an honor beyond words. I came in with my green Wings of Isis, flowed into my silk fan veils, and somehow ended up WAACKING too πŸ˜…πŸ”₯ β€” something I honestly didn’t expect, but when you’re surrounded by that kind of energy, that kind of soul family, you move differently. I didn’t just come to perform… I came for the family vibes. I came to be reminded that I have a real dance soul family. A place where unity matters. A place where people understand what it feels like to be on the outside, and still choose love, respect, and community anyway. These are the people who helped bring Hip Hop, Waacking, and street dance culture to the forefront before it was mainstream. Legends among legends. And being in that space reminded meβ€”I am a legend because I stand among legends. I am an icon among icons. Thank you for embracing me, inspiring me, and reminding me exactly where I belong. More videos coming soon… and trust me, you’re going to want to see them πŸ‘€βœ¨ #Waacking #FlowArts #FanVeils #WingsOfIsis #FYP by @phantomskyjojo

✨πŸͺ½ Sampaguita Socials - Masquerade Ball 2026 πŸͺ½βœ¨ Community has always meant something deeply personal to me. ❀️ If you see me showing up in certain spaces, it's because I believe in community, connection, representation, and bringing people together. I don't just want to be part of changing the world. I want to help make it happen, one community at a time. 🌎 Sampaguita Socials (Filipino American Community of South Central PA) is the Filipino American community gathering was another opportunity to celebrate connection, culture, and togetherness. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ For this performance, I brought out my Silver Wings of Isis and fans for a little fan waacking! πŸͺ½βœ¨ And let's be REAL about what happened! πŸ˜‚ One of my fans slipped right out of my hand mid-performance. My amazing friend Gilda picked it up and tried to hand it back to me, but I was like, "Nope, no, no! Forget about it!" 🀣 So I kept going, working that one-arm fan whacking until the end. Because when you're performing, sometimes things don't go according to plan. But the show must go on! πŸ™Œ A special thank-you to the president of Sampaguita Socials and my amazing sister, Charina Boes , for continuing to create spaces where community can come together. And to Gilda Meminger , thank you for taking care of my fallen fan! ❀️ Proud to show up, support one another, and celebrate our Filipino American community. ❀️✊🏽 FIGHTING FOR BELONGING. STANDING UP FOR OTHERS. Sometimes, the people who struggle the most to feel like they belong are the very ones fighting to make sure others do. πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ I know what rejection feels like. I know what it feels like when people make you question whether you belong, whether through their words or their actions. And even today, I still experience those moments. But I refuse to let those experiences stop me from standing up for others. Instead, they remind me why advocacy matters. 🌎✊🏽 This day was a reminder of that purpose. After experiencing some personal disappointment, I found myself standing alongside incredible leaders with @apipennsylvania β€” Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance at the Dauphin County Prison Board meeting, advocating against ICE and urging our county to protect immigrant communities by ending cooperation between our county prison and ICE. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡β€οΈ I’m grateful to stand alongside APIPA and so many passionate leaders who remind me that our voices matter and that fighting for justice is something we do together. Sometimes, it’s easier to fight for someone else’s sense of belonging than to find that same sense within ourselves. I’m still working on that part. But if my voice, my presence, or my advocacy can help someone else feel seen, valued, and welcome, then I’ll keep showing up. Because EVERYONE deserves to belong. No one should have to fight to prove they deserve a place in this world. 🌈🀝🏽 ❀️ Lotus compassion. ✊🏽 Human rights. 🌎 A world where nobody is left behind. #APIPA #StopICE #HumanRights #AsianAmericanAdvocacy #EveryoneBelongs by @phantomskyjojo
✊🏽❀️ FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT AGAINST ICE β€” NOW ON THE NEWS! πŸ“ΊπŸ”₯ We made it on WGAL News 8 @wgal8 ! Proud to have been part of this important moment at the Dauphin County Prison Board meeting, standing up for human rights, justice, and the protection of our immigrant communities. A few of us, including myself, had the opportunity to speak directly against ICE. ❀️ I'm especially happy that each of us had the chance to speak up and make our voices heard. Every voice matters, and I'm grateful we had the opportunity to stand together and speak out for what we believe in. A special shout-out to Commissioner Justin Douglas for speaking up about the need for stronger limits on cooperation with ICE. We need leaders willing to address these concerns and hold our institutions accountable. ✊🏽 And a HUGE shout-out to the Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance ( @apipennsylvania ) ❀️ I'm proud to stand alongside this amazing organization and be part of a community fighting for justice, dignity, and equality for ALL. Our voices matter. Our communities matter. And we will keep fighting the good fight! πŸ—£οΈβœŠπŸ½β€οΈ #APIPA #HumanRights #ImmigrantRights #JusticeForAll #KeepICEOut by @phantomskyjojo
✊🏽❀️ FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT AGAINST ICE Proud to stand alongside API-PA (Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance, @apipennsylvania ) at the Dauphin County Prison Board meeting as we fight for justice, compassion, and human dignity. A few of us, including myself, had the opportunity to speak out against ICE directly at the meeting. It was a powerful, necessary, and much-needed moment to raise our voices for innocent people being detained and to address the deaths and suicides in ICE custody. Every human being deserves dignity, due process, and to be treated with humanity. We cannot stay silent when lives are at stake. We will keep speaking up, standing together, and fighting the good fight. ✊🏽❀️ #APICommunity #HumanRights #KeepICEOut #LoveThyNeighbor #JusticeForAll by @phantomskyjojo
LOVE YOURSELF. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. πŸͺπŸ’™βœ¨ Throwback to flowing with FOUR fan veils to β€œJust Wanna Rock” by @liluzivert , medical boots and all! πŸͺπŸ”₯πŸ’ƒ Behind the movement, there's a personal journey that not everyone sees. After my surgery in early November, I'll be stepping away from dancing for a while. I'll be in a wheelchair for approximately six weeks, with very limited mobility as I focus on healing. Honestly, I'm not sure what the future holds for me as a dancer. My body and physical abilities have changed, and some days, I'm simply fighting to keep going. This journey has made me appreciate even more those who continue pushing forward while facing their own physical challenges. We all have battles that others may never see, and sometimes, just continuing to show up takes incredible strength. πŸ’™πŸ¦‹ For now, this is your reminder, and mine, to LOVE YOURSELF, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, and give yourself grace when life doesn't go as planned. Our journeys may change, but that doesn't mean our worth or our light has to fade. πŸͺ·πŸ™β€οΈ #FanVeils #FlowArts #SelfLove #BelieveInYourself #DanceIsMyVoice by @phantomskyjojo
