POSTS STORIES REELS

We're moving out of LA on September 30th and we'd love to keep our home in the family 🏡

‼️HOUSE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. THANK YOU @getyohairdid for connecting us with J and keeping our home in the family ‼️

Six years in this house. It's the longest I've lived anywhere besides my childhood home and I'm sad to be giving it up.

I found it on Craigslist in May 2020. COVID had sent me home to Mendocino and I came down for a @dopecreative shoot the weekend the protests started. I was randomly looking for a sublet so I could stay and work longer and ended up finding my dream home. Life happens in mysterious ways. Colin and I moved in that June, and I filled the place with plants until it became my sanctuary.

The guest house became the studio where @fatal.attraction and I built Dope Creative, and one day Freddie Gibbs was in there for the cover of @mixmag. It was also our movie room. The patio was for barbecues and hangs with friends.

Colin, @phantomvibes, you are the celestial jester. Thank you for six years of laughter, creativity and weirdness. I miss you man.

Jenny, @jenny.mccown, you've filled this house with so much magic ❤️‍🔥 I cherish all the dinners we've cooked here, blowing cinnamon at the front door on the first of every month, and our walks around the neighborhood with Kenji.

There's more to share about what's next and I will soon, but before we go we want to see you all. I'm planning a couple shoot days at the house and will post dates this weekend. Text or DM me if you want your photo taken or just want to hang one more time.

Sending y'all love 🫶

Some cities find you. This one made me.

It’s bittersweet but I’ve chosen to pack up and head back to my roots. The place that first shaped me before this city sharpened me. But I go with bright eyes open and a full heart.

They say you don’t choose Los Angeles, it chooses you. And fifteen years ago, this sprawling, sun-scorched city of savages reached out and claimed me as its own. I arrived as one thing. I leave as something else entirely. Something stronger and more refined. Something better.

What I’m taking with me isn’t the sunsets or the skyline. It’s you. Every one of you who sat across from me at some sticky table, somebody’s rooftop, some kitchen at 2am. Once strangers who became friends who became family without anyone noticing when it happened. That alchemy is the whole damn point and I cherish all of it. There’s a particular magic in reunion. When someone you haven’t seen in years walks through a door, time melts away. That handshake that pulls into a long hug. The goosebumps. That laugh that picks up exactly where it left off. I think that’s the closest thing to time travel that any of us will ever know.

Mark Twain had it right: “the best of life is the people in it, and the rest is just geography.”

How lucky am I? Genuinely, stupidly lucky. To have landed in a city this alive, among people this extraordinary. People who pushed me, held me up, and showed me who I was capable of becoming. I don’t take a single moment of it for granted.

Los Angeles, you are my forever home. I say that with my whole chest and zero hesitation. No matter where the open road takes me this city lives in me permanently. In the way I move, the way I love and the way I show up for people.

There’s no such thing as never and nothings is forever, except love. I’ve bought the ticket. I’m here for the ride.

So raise a glass, wherever you are. The road goes on. And somewhere down it, may our paths cross again and when they do, I’ll be right there, same as always, ready to bring a smile to your face.

Before I go I’d like to squeeze as many of my friends as possible. One more laugh. Anddd it’s not goodbye it’s I’ll see you soooon! 🤌🏽💋 by @phantomvibes

First trip to Hawaii has been horribleeee😭🙈

bright eyes, ear to ear smiles, constantly being awestruck, lots of love and laughter, smells that take me to a place of bliss, the soundtrack of the jungle gives me all the feels, driving with the top down in the rain, staring at the Milky Way, jungle hikes to magical waterfalls, off-roading in my dream Bronco, stopping at little farms and supporting the culture.. the list goes on and on and it’s only been two days. 🍄🌴🤙🏽 by @phantomvibes
