Spooky season well under way! I've had great fun storytelling at Brighton Telltales at the @yellow.book.bar, first with a (nearly ...) true ghostly Gatwick tale then with the story of how The Fear nearly stopped me getting on stage ever again! (I beat that, and headed to Edinburgh to **** reviews 🤗) by @philippa.hammond
If public speaking gives you the 😱, my Talking Speaking Power Hour is here to help you, at a special October rate. My 1-1 Power Hours are a concentrated shot of new knowledge, new confidence and a boost to building new skills. They're held online via Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp etc, or if you're in the Brighton and Hove area, in person at your home, office or a friendly local café. Talking Speaking works like this: 🍂You prepare your elevator speech ready in advance 🍂We meet and I share insights, tips, exercises and honest, respectful feedback to help you feel better, look better and sound better when you get up to speak, in person and online. 🍂You'll take away new confidence, some simple techniques used by actors, trainers and professional public speakers, plus a personal action plan for your next steps. If a full programme or course feels overwhelming, this private hour gaining practical new knowledge is a great little kickoff for autumn. “A massive confidence boost” James Clammer, Carnegie Medal nominee “Feeling like I could conquer anything” Danielle Evans, Miss Hastings 2024, Miss Brighton 2021 “It’s life-changing” Corinne Card, Co-founder, Full Story Media October offer: normally £99, a single Power Hour is available for £50, or you can choose two for £75 this month.
