Flipping through my very first junk journal. I had no particular theme in mind, just a free flow of association. . . . #journaling #junkjournal #cozyvibes by @philomenaa.art
Finally posting this amazing experience! I got the chance to work with @creativestudio.berlin on a new area in Madame Tussauds Berlin. I loved to see and be part of creating the environment that people can enjoy so much, and take a part of it home with them in a picture. I never really thought about it from this point of view, that a painting of mine will be on so many peoples pictures. I really hope they find happiness in it and it becomes a reminder of good memories. Definitely go check out @tussaudsberlin if you're in the city. . . . #art #madametussauds #berlincity #mural #wallpainting #portrait #historicalfigure by @philomenaa.art
Last year I made this little model of Dr. Stone's tent. She's a character from Camp GEO, a fictional theme park concept I worked on with some lovely people. This concept was part of the @immersivedesignacademy in 2024, if you'd like to know more about it go check out their website: Immersive Design Academy > Projects > 2023/24 Camp GEO This was a challenging piece to make, mainly because I thought about it at the last minute and had to figure out everything on the go, and also because it was my first time making such a miniature. Nonetheless I enjoyed it immensely and I am planning to make these kinds of projects more frequently. Give me suggestions if you have a good idea on what I should make next. by @philomenaa.art
Now that we're about halfway to Halloween, here's a throwback to a few of my 2022 costumes. I had a field-day with the opportunity to wear home made makeup and costumes at my workplace. I made a new look every day, which added a few hours to my workdays, but it was worth it. 😄 Unfortunately I didn't have time to take proper pictures of them so I just snapped one in a few minute window before work, but they are good enough to show my ideas. • My twist on a scarecrow • Me as a Tim Burton character • A little Elf • A doe • Inspired by Coraline • . . . #halloween #halfwaytohalloween #makeup #halloweenmakeupideas #costume #haloweencostume #scarecrow #scarecrowcostume #scarecrowmakeup #timburton #timburtoncharacter #timburtoncharactercostume #timburtoncharactermakeup #elf #elfcostume #elfmakeup #doe #doemakeup #doecostume #coraline #coralinemakeup #coralinecostume #inspirations #art #myart by @philomenaa.art
While staying at Corfu, I realized that the big and mysterious trees I imagine, greatly resembles olive trees. So from now on, I will use them as reference to draw the worlds behind my eyes. 🌳 . . . #art #artist #drawing #passion #olivetrees #corfu #imagination #graphite by @philomenaa.art
And here is the result. This is my own creation. . . . #art #brushpens #ink #markers #street #streetview #oeiginalart #houses #create by @philomenaa.art
I wanted to be able to draw houses from imagination, but for that I had to study how others do it, how they simplify shapes and lines to get the most characteristic outcome. So I copied others' work. I search on Pinterest for reference and inspiration often. . . . #art #copies #copying #inspiration #learning #study #house #housedrawing #ink #drawing by @philomenaa.art
Sometimes copying is alright. That's how I learn new styles and techniques, how I get inspired and motivated. All these drawings started as a copy of someone else's work, and while drawing them I got inspired and changed them a little. That does not make them my own of course, but rather a collaboration with the original artist. So thank you for everyone who shares their art with the world for others to admire them, learn from them and be inspired to create. . . . #art #copy #drawings #inspiration #notoriginal #imagination #create #brushpens #ink #graphite by @philomenaa.art

I got this small wildflower bouquet from my boyfriend on a hike. He ran forward and hid this cute little thing behind his back when he came back. Sadly by the time we arrived home some of the flowers were already a little droopy and I couldn't revive them with fresh water. But I drew them to always remember this small kindness. And it fills my heart with joy every time I see this picture. . . . #art #drawing #pendrawing #bouquet #flowers #wildflowers #kindness #love #symbol #blackandwhiteart #contrast by @philomenaa.art
