Thank you to Palestinian American CC PACC for the opportunity to participate in this week’s successful forum.

Forums like these are important because our residents deserve to hear directly from the people asking for their trust and the opportunity to serve. They deserve substance, accountability, and leadership grounded in real experience, knowledge, and a genuine commitment to our community.

I am proud of the work I have done through my service on the Clifton Board of Education, my advocacy, and my commitment to helping families, supporting our youth, and bringing people together. My experience has taught me that leadership is not simply about making promises. It is about understanding the issues, listening to residents, and having the knowledge and preparation to turn ideas into action.

As I continue my campaign for Clifton City Council, I remain focused on leading ethically, serving with transparency, and putting our residents first. I believe that experience, preparation, and a proven commitment to public service matter, and I will continue to demonstrate that through my work.

Thank you to PACC for bringing our community together and creating space for these important conversations.

Clifton deserves leadership that listens, leads with integrity, and delivers for its residents.

A Better Clifton starts with you.

HONORED TO BE INVITED TO KEAN UNIVERSITY!

I was honored to be invited to Kean University as a panelist for their Future Leaders Fellows program, where I had the opportunity to speak with the next generation of leaders about leadership, public service, and the importance of being proactive in creating change in our communities.

As someone who grew up in Clifton, pursued higher education, and dedicated years to serving our community through the Board of Education, civic engagement, and advocacy, I know firsthand that leadership is not about waiting for an opportunity. It is about stepping up, taking initiative, and being willing to do the work even when the path is not easy.

At 26, I am proud to bring my experiences as an educator, advocate, and community leader to conversations like these. I shared lessons from my own journey, the importance of staying grounded in your values, and why the next generation should never underestimate the impact they can make when they choose to get involved.

That message is especially meaningful as I continue my campaign for Clifton City Council. My campaign is about bringing a new generation of leadership to City Hall, one that listens, values transparency, welcomes different perspectives, and puts residents first.

I believe our future depends on preparing young people to lead, empowering them to speak up, and reminding them that they do not have to wait until tomorrow to make a difference. They can start today.

Thank you to Kean University and the Future Leaders Fellows program for the invitation and for investing in the leaders who will shape our communities for years to come.

The next generation is not just the future of leadership. They are already part of it.

Educator. Advocate. Community Leader.

A Better Clifton starts with you.
