Her own song. 🎵 this is so important for beginners to do. This type of creative improvisation-composing to oneself is giving the student an area of freedom to explore the sounds of notes playing, the sensory touch of pressing into the 🎹 keys. I did this before taking lessons as a child and even after lessons. The improvisation became more much like notes in certain keys with meaningful melodies with dynamic expressions. Lyrics soon came into the picture for me as I loved to sing. I remember writing my first composition at age of 9. It was a good start. It didn’t amount to too much but it had meaning to me. Be artistic in music. It’s why we were interested in the first place. 😉🎹🫶🎼🎵#pianolessonsforkids
