Hi everyone my name is Miss Idgie Threadgoode but my momma calls me Idgie, Idg Pidg, Pigeon and all the names in between. I was rescued right outside of my house in the orchard found by mommy’s roommate, my Tio J.R. I was found on Mean Girls Day 10/3 at 4wks old. I am currently 7wks old. I love laying next to my momma’s legs, burrowing in blankets and I just started to love playing with toys. My cousins @all_about_nanook_n_rika like to watch over me when I run around the house. Im currently food driven, I love watching Gilmore Girls and traveling with Momma. #adventureswithidgie by @pidgeon_pie

I got the rest of my shots today until next year. I am 14wks old now. When I first came home I weighed under a pound. Now I weigh a whopping 4.9lbs. Momma tells me every day to stop growing but I’m a little weed. I finally love my kitty bed, passed down to me by kitty uncle Hobson. I like to grab my toys, momma’s socks and hair ties and hide them in my jack-o-lantern house. This weekend I get to meet other kittens my age for the first time and experience the luxurious life they live. Basically it’s a spa weekend while Momma goes to San Diego for the weekend. I am the happiest kitty 😻 #idgiethreadgoode #idgiethekitty #tabbycatsofinstagram #adventureswithidgie #thisis14wks by @pidgeon_pie

Happy National Cat Day 😻 This is the “Kozy Kitten” season as we say in our house. This is the beginning of cuddliest time of the year with our kitty girl, Idgie. We love you Pidgeon🥰 #nationalcatday by @pidgeon_pie

Today I had to make sure my brother studied his spelling words. He was taking too long so I had to remind him to stay on task and hurry up. 😹🥰 by @pidgeon_pie

Just your yearly reminder that J.R. @jay_r_unlimited and I rescued Idgie from the orchard on October 3rd, 4 years ago now. She has been a horror movie and Gilmore Girls-only kitty since day one. She’s never interested in tv at all, otherwise. Even though I’m her momma, it never ceases to amaze me. She’s so engaged! Sleepy Hollow ftw! She’s a Tim Burton girlie like her momma. Haha I’m the crazy cat lady I swore up and down that I’d never be 👻🎃🪾🍃🐈‍⬛ #sleepyhollow #timburton #johnnydepp #christinaricci #tabbiesofinstagram @pidgeon_pie by @pidgeon_pie

Happiest of birthdays to my baby kitty girl, Miss Idgie Louise Threadgoode. She is 4 years old 🥹 This year we celebrated with her kid brother and kid sister for the first time! We went to PetSmart and they picked out a new Halloween tent for her. Our Teetah is the kindest most loving girl to the kids and to us. She still loves our shoes, showing us her post and spending time in front of the screen door. It’s the beginning of cuddle kitten season, we can’t wait for more snuggles from the Pidgeon. #adventureswithidgie #idgiethekitty by @pidgeon_pie

Happy International Cat Day! My birthday is at the cat tail end of this month. I am still silly. I am still cute. My pawrents love me soooooo much. Sometimes cats get a bad rap but the cat distribution system changes hearts real quick like it did for my mommy. Happy Day to all the Kitties in the world even though I personally love dogs more (but one day I’m getting a sibling and hopefully I will be a good kitten sister). #idgiethekitty #tabby #catsofinstagram #cats #internationalcatday by @pidgeon_pie

Before the day ends, Teetah Bunny would like to tell you all that she’s exhausted from filling Easter baskets and hiding eggs. She has retired to the top bunk of her bunk beds which is also the storage for the Christmas tree while Momma and Daddy have been spring cleaning this week. Idgie is still the sweetest baby kitty. I can’t believe she’s going to be 4 years old in 4 months! She is very loved and her dad is still favorite person in the whole wide world. Happy Easter 🩷🌷🕊️🐰🐣☦️ by @pidgeon_pie

Happy National Cat Day! Surprisingly, the first pic is not staged. I got this sweater for her back in September and it was lost in laundry mountain. I just found it and laid it out on my bed. Then this little girl came and jumped up next to it. I think she knows she’s going to be wearing it on Halloween and she’s not too happy about it 🤣 I love my Teetah girl. The best pidgeon in the land. To know her is to love her spunky & sweet little soul. Thank goodness for kitties! #nationalcatday #idgielouisethreadgoode #idgiethekitty by @pidgeon_pie

Three years old! I normally celebrate her birthday on August 30 but this weekend was crazy to say the least. So in between all of the car drama we celebrated throughout the weekend when we could. She is spunky, silly and oh so loving…on her own terms. This is her first birthday to day in our new home as a family. Her dad is her favorite person. Although her best friend Nanook is no longer with us we hold the memories of him fondly and will always celebrate his memory. Idgie is a 3yr old kitten. She loves her door time in front of the screen door and will run to me to tell on her dad for shutting the door. Always big m’owin. Happy Birthday Cheecha My, Teetah, Princess Half Squat of the Long Paw Tabbies, Pidgeon Pie, sweet Idgie Louise Threadgoode. You are so loved! Special thank you to her auntie Libby for her ghost cat tunnel, toys and treats. We love our friends and family! #idgieisthree #idgielouisethreadgoode #idgiethekitty by @pidgeon_pie

Happy International Cat Day! Idgie Louise Threadgoode our little baby kitten pie, Teetah, Sissa, Cheecha-My, Pidgeon is the best little fur girl in the world. She has us wrapped around her paws. She will be THREE at the end of this month. Although she does sleep a lot she still has that wild kitten spirit and will talk and talk to us. We couldn’t live without our Daddy’s little Honey Biscuit. Live your very best life Idgie!! #internationalcatday #catsofig #tabbiesofinstagram @pidgeon_pie by @pidgeon_pie

We LOVE Shark Week!!!!! Back in bed. Hoping it’s not Covid. Grateful I don’t work again until Saturday. Baby Teetah and Momma are locked in for the week. Sharks are an integral part of the ecosystem. I have the utmost respect for these beautiful apex predators and even the tiniest of species as well. I’m so excited for another year of a week of learning. Thank you to @abc4explore @pauldegelder @dickie_chivell @alisontowner and all of the other greats for continuing to spread awareness year after year. #sharkweek2025 #savethesharks #sharkweek #welovesharks #sharkcat #tabbyshark @discoversharks @sharkweek #airjaws #idgiethekitty #idgiethreadgoode #theSharkCharmerofCalifornia by @pidgeon_pie
