POSTS STORIES REELS

It’s a fact: this month, I got the keys to a place I could’ve only dreamed of. 🥹

Renovation kicked off immediately, and Pien Ceramics #2 will be opening her doors at the end of this year!

The new studio is just a stone’s throw from the other one, which some people might find a little weird. But this was a very deliberate choice.

The community has become such a huge part of why I consider Pien Ceramics a success. And of course, you can deliberate on what “success” actually means, but to me, it’s quite simple: getting to do what I love, with people I love.

So I want to think of the two studios as one big community. I can’t really imagine that working the same way if the second studio were on the other side of the city.

And also, Majorna feels like home. This neighbourhood makes me so happy, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. ❤️

Would you guys be curious to see more of the renovation process, and the decisions I’m making along the way? by @pienceramics

Renovating. Renovating.

My dad flew in from the NL for a full week to help with the renovation. ❤️

After a long day of grinding, painting, and building, you walk past the first studio, and the lights are on, and you let a little tear of happiness. 🧚 by @pienceramics

My dad’s in town!

Exactly two years ago, he was here for the same reason: to help me build the studio.

I grew up with a dad who built things and always included us, his 4 kids, in the process. Doing this together brings back so many childhood memories. And I know that, when it’s all done, I’ll walk around the studio and be reminded of this week. The long days of building, the little moments in between, figuring things out together, and having a beer at the end of the day, tired but content.

The first studio wouldn’t be here without my dad, and this one is no different. Pretty special to have a dad who supports me, and helps me build my dreams. by @pienceramics

On Monday, November 9, our 6 week handbuilding course starts again. We can’t wait to say the least. There are still spots available. Questions? DM ❤️ by @pienceramics

While renovating the other studio, I’m reminded of how much this place means to me. It feels like coming home, leaving the chaos behind, and I’m falling in love all over again with every little corner. 🫶 by @pienceramics

Now that the days are getting shorter, there is no better time to sign up, and spend 6 cosy evenings together.

Our next course round starts November 9, and for a limited time, you can get 15% off all handbuilding courses!

🍂 Offer ends Sunday, October 24.

The floor is done. It was fun, until it wasn’t. And then it was fun again when the end was near. On to the next project. Slowly seeing it all come together gives me so much energy 💛

I can be kind of a rushed person, and if I have something in my head, I often want to do it straight away and don’t stop until it’s done. Now, I’m actively trying to take it slow. It have made me appreciate evenings like this so much. Whenever I feel rushed again, I try to sing the lines in my head of this beautiful song of Guns ‘n Roses:

Said, “Woman, take it slow, it’ll work itself out fine. All we need is just a little patience” by @pienceramics

I really hope to see you there! Link in bio 🤎 by @pienceramics
