Today, I’m proud to say I’ve been saved by Grace; saved by Mercy; and saved by Christ. This journey I’ve been on in Alabama has been long, frustrating, and challenging—but I never would have ended up here, in a place I now call home, without everything I’ve faced along the way. It’s shaped me, changed me, and prepared me for what God has in store for my life, and how He will use my gifts to save and impact others. As hard as I’ve worked, and as long as it’s taken to get to where I am now, I know God is telling me: “This is just the beginning.” So, let’s get started. by @pierceasiatico

This is how we close out this chapter

Thank you for everything TTown, this is the place that forever changed and saved my life. Love you guys by @pierceasiatico

A Master’s Degree in Chemistry.

I moved and have lived in a state that none of my family has lived in to achieve this, and somehow I came out with more than I could’ve ever prayed for. Even if it wasn’t my original plan, it was all according to His. I’m not understating it when I say God is the entire reason I made it here.

Doing the math, I’ve been in school for 23 years if you count the 2 years of kindergarten!😂 I PRAY that’s enough for me, but ultimately it’s up to what God wants me to do next. I know graduation posts are usually appreciation posts, and there truly are so many people I’m thankful for, but honestly, this was only possible because God carried me through it.

My rock bottom was in the first year of my time in Tuscaloosa, and that’s where my life changed. That’s where I first met God, and I encourage everyone to look in the mirror and see if you have a god-sized hole missing in your life like I did. I promise you won’t regret giving Him a chance.

I can’t thank my photographers enough for taking these amazing photos. I specifically want to shout out @christinapoolephotography for her willingness to serve while continually spreading God’s love. She truly was a godsend for her time, so I can’t recommend her enough and I ask that you please check her out if you need photos done.

Love you guys, and can’t wait to see where I’m heading to next. by @pierceasiatico

A couple days ago I ran the Tuscaloosa Half Marathon and finished in 1:27:45 — just 17 seconds off my PR… after 3 weeks of no running.

This race shouldn’t have happened.

I had a lot of people ask me, “How did you do that?”
So I wanted to actually explain it.

Simply put: I had nothing to do with it. It was all God.

The night before, I was so anxious about my time, my performance, and everything about the race. I had completely lost sight of why I love running in the first place, and I wasn’t running for the reasons I should have been.

Then I remembered what it says in Matthew 6: don’t worry about tomorrow for today has enough worries of its own.

And it hit me: If I’m worrying, then I’m not trusting God.

So I let go. I let go of all the expectations, all goals I wanted, and I just let God do the work.

I told Him, “Run this race through me however You want.” Whether that meant a 1:50, a 1:35, or not even starting — I gave it all to Him.

When I got to the start line, I had no anxiety. No nerves. No doubts. I only felt peace, love, and triumph.

And I carried that the entire race. I decided to run freely, trusting Him, even when I knew I was going faster than I should have been.

I never questioned it or what He was doing in me. And I finished stronger than I ever could have imagined

So when people ask how I ran my second fastest race off no training…

Here’s my answer: all God, none of me. by @pierceasiatico

Motion ‘25.

These 3 days can only be described as an equivalence to the day I got baptized in April. From the speakers to the artists, to the overwhelming love and support from the
nearly 250 churches that showed up — this weekend was saturated in the kind of God-given presence every Christian spends their life longing for.

I’m glad I walked into this weekend knowing nothing; just fully open and ready to go all in. I’ve always believed the more you put into something, the more you’ll get out of it, and I’m so proud of myself for doing that. On Friday, July 25, I surrendered all my pain, guilt, and shame to God, and that’s what the last video on this post shows - the reception and aftermath of that day. I pray I get to come back to more Motions, even if I can’t sit in the college section anymore. I’m just so thankful to God and @churchofthehighlands for inspiring the next generation and to go all in with their faith. So lastly, this is me moving forward in my Faith Journey saying “Here I am God - Send Me”. by @pierceasiatico
