Double helix piercings are a simple way to add some edge to your earstack, it healing can be tricky. With two placed close together on pure cartilage it’s prone to quick swelling and tenderness, longer healing times, and getting tangled with longer hair. Staying on top of aftercare, saline compresses, and being patient is your best friend on having a double helix piercing heal well. For more information or questions, feel free to book a Zoom consult! by @piercedprettystudio
Nothing but a yes to the whole tragus + contraconch/flat piercing combination. That is all! Anyway, it’s getting cold outside. Let’s warm up and come inside the studio for a piercing. Books are open! #piercings #piercingstudio #tragus by @piercedprettystudio

This curation is approximately 18 months in the making … maybe a bit more or less … but what started as “maybe I’ll do a little something on one ear” on a whim (while staying at a hotel even) turned into multiple, well spaced out piercing appointments, and a lesson in patience. It’s turning out to be my FAVOURITE curation ever. AND ALSO - THIS IS JUST ONE SIDE (we will show you the other side another time!). What makes this look? First off, the placements - not too crowded with a bit of staggering. Plus, her jewellery selections are a mix of chunky and delicate allowing each piercing to stand out on its own. The balance here is key and is wht it makes it so visually appealing. The freshest piercing here is her tragus, so I’m excited to see what type of jewellery she might choose for it when it ready. My favourite thing about this is the baby bite on the mid-helix as the centre of everything … which one is your favourite? #piercings #tragus #helix #rookpiercing #piercingstudio by @piercedprettystudio
The perfect piercing and jewellery for when you know you’re edgy and cool, but you can’t let anyone else know it between the hours of 9 and 5! This pretty guest wanted a little bit of self expression, but needs to keep it simple for work. Love how this helix piece is hidden yet still can make a statement on its own! #helix #piercing #jewellery #piercingstudio by @piercedprettystudio
It’s September 2026! I would like to extend a very big thank you to all the lovely teens and kids who came through the studio during summer break to start their piercing glow up. It’s been such a treat to meet all of you, and to see you smile when we added a little bit of sparkle to your ears! Some of the most popular piercings we did throughout July and August were : - the stacked lobe - the helix - the nostril - the conch What will your next piercing be?
