Well; I never thought the happy tail would become unmanageable, but it inevitably did. I find myself missing Koa’s tail more than he does. While he literally has no notion that it’s gone, I do miss some things about it. Some would say getting your knees knocked or your shins bruised was annoying, I found it hysterical majority of the time. What once was a long and luxurious weapon has been dubbed to a nub. He looks more GSP/Viszla to me now than he ever did before. What I am especially grateful for is that I no longer have to yell at him to go lay down to avoid beating his tail or flinging his bandage off his rump. He gets to move freely around the house, wiggly booty and all. What’s incredible about all of this to me is that he is still able to undergo anesthesia. After his hospitalization I thought that would be out of the question for him. He is doing well. I am grateful to all of my friends who have helped carry me and koa through all of these ups and downs. Here’s to more years with my main man, and to all of growing we’ve done together. I love my poop head, Kozy koa, Pooh bear, twerky jerky. by @pikocrochet
Grateful to come home to this judgmental garage-recliner hog. 🩵 by @pikocrochet
I didn’t want to prematurely celebrate my boy’s recovery. But it does seem it’s time to announce he is on the mend. While he’ll never heal from his disease, we’ve at least gotten the more negative aspects of it under control. He’s eating well, taking his meds easily in chimken pill pockets, twerking, showing off toys, and pouncing on me again. Going through this with koa was one of the scariest and darkest points I’ve hit in a long time. I managed to still show up for him. Even when all I wanted to do was sob into him, I couldn’t let him see me like that. While I was fighting to be strong, my boy IS strong. He pulled through. I am beyond grateful to those who financially contributed. Along with those who put their nose to the grindstone and took genuine care of him as if he was theirs. Thank you, to everyone involved, from the bottom of my heart. Koa and I thank you. 🩵🥹 by @pikocrochet
Looney tunes: what a pleasant addition to this little family you have been. Between watching your robot work for you, cleaning my face until my skin falls off, or scaling the tv and nearly knocking the ps5 off its 7ft shelf. Something about your innocent little face spoke to me that day you presented and I took a huge leap. Intestines nearly popping out of your spay site, yet still the happiest little love - licking everyone you got to say hello to. You’re a spitfire, a dare devil, and a food fiend. You can already “sit” and “spin” on command for treats. I am so grateful that rye and you have bonded so well, and wrestle mania constantly involves you bullying your much larger brother. I will always love this sweet little girl, and I am so grateful she landed in my arms. by @pikocrochet
My sweet handsome man has been hospitalized for the last 7-10days with severe gi paresis. It was touch and go for the first few days. He’s turning a positive corner in his treatments and we need to continue this forward momentum. I need help in making that possible. Never in my life have I asked for money in this regard. But no one can prepare you for a life or death decision for your best friend of nearly 11years. He’s gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life, with a twerk and a toy in his mouth the whole way. But imagine my demise when I realized he wasn’t doing those things anymore. And my boy who once couldn’t be trusted around a plate of food had zero interest in even his own? My boy has had his fair share of foreign body scares with his voracious appetite. This was different. Within days he completely stopped eating. He had been having increased regurgitation issues over the last year that I kept putting off, and chalking up to being correlated to his dental disease. But shortly after his clean and crisp dental, something wasn’t right. He took longer to recover, he was sluggish, more uneasy on his feet than ever before, and eventually completely anorexic. I thank you to everyone who has been involved in his care. From the bottom of my heart, yall have no idea how much you mean to me for putting so much TLC into him. For those that can afford to donate, I have set up a gofundme with the link in my bio. Please help get koa home and consider donating to his continued care. You could also follow my shop link and consider purchasing a handmade good that’s ready to ship, or message/email me to inquire about custom makes. My love and gratitude in advance. by @pikocrochet

Here to say, happy Veterinary Day. I am so grateful for the time I’ve spent in veterinary medicine and all of those that I have met along the way. I will be forever thankful for those that have helped me pave my way through this field. I have found my passion in dentistry and will continue to learn and grow in this specialized area as I progress through my career. Last pic: my favorite spicy Klee-Kai “Whiskey” who loves me but also hates me for cleaning the poop out from between his toes. 🩵😂 by @pikocrochet
Another year older, my boy. The best damn thing that’s ever happened to me. My first fur baby. My big boy. My twerky jerky. Happy birthday handsome manly. Every day I look forward to coming home to hear him scream at me that I am home and to enter the house to a twerking booty and a toy in his mouth. The best damn dog for me. All he cares about is getting love and giving love. 🩵 here’s to many more years Kozy Koa. by @pikocrochet
