The great debate: do we love the ball or hate it??

Here is a little glimpse of what I taught in class tonight using the ball while on the mat. For me? I love the ball. 😍

If you want to get your hamstrings fired up in your next advanced reformer class, add one blue spring and get to work. Slow movement, big results. 🔥

Adding in the dowel to my classes this week to focus on bringing symmetry into our movements ✨

Using the dowel really forces us to bring awareness to our bodies and what is happening with each movement. Due to asymmetrical body alignment, you might find that one side of your body is taking control and applying more pressure than the other. (Ps. Totally normal! Nobody has a perfectly symmetrical alignment!) By adding in the dowel, it really draws awareness and attention to what is happening with each movement, allowing your body to focus on equally apply pressure instead of allowing one side to over power the other.

It was fun to add some strength work standing off of the reformer for a full body burn and I loved hearing all the feedback from my clients in yesterday’s class!

Save this for your next reformer flow! 🔥

This weekend wrapped up our @soma.pilates.method mat training and this methodology is truly phenomenal! I am SO pumped to take what I have learned throughout this course and apply it in my classes! 📚

I am excited to officially be teaching hot mat classes in Provo @mountainwestpilates starting TOMORROW, Monday 5th! Classes are waitlisted for this week, so be sure to book your next week classes! ❤️‍🔥

Also, adding in Tuesday 5pm Athletic Reformer to my schedule in PG!

A lil well balanced flow using the long box & the option to add in the 10 lb Bala weight 💙🦋
