Power doesnt have to scream, it can shimmer ✨
Fire horse energy is wild and untamed 🐎

In Tao, when fire rises too high you don’t meet it with more fire, you meet it with water.

Fire & Water is alcehemy - think Yin & Yang.

This year isn’t about more speed, or hustle or force, its about harnessing the fire, the energy that you have gathered.

In my method, Art of Control™️, we dont put out the fire, we shape it, we master it.
We build heat, slowly and intentionally. ❤️‍🔥

Playing with fire, but with control - dangerous in the right way 😼

February… the month of love, touch and tension.
not just the romantic kind

The kind where breath teases movement,
where the pelvis stays heavy,
and everything happens slow, on purpose ❤️

In Art of Control™️, we don’t just move.
We seduce the shape.
We linger in the exhale.
We feel everything 💦

Because the deepest kind of love is presence.
And that starts in your own body.

Come get intimate.
See you on the carriage lovers ❤️‍🔥 💋

What you hold in your body shapes how you lead 🖤
High performers often adapt to tension without noticing, but with awareness they can begin to influence how they stand, breathe, think and lead.
Strong backs aren’t built from force but rather what you are willing to unhold.

My method works beneath the surface layer to rewrite patterns, explore pauses and bring softness to the places the body learn to brace.
When we unlock those, power becomes clearer and movement becomes cleaner. This is when we then can start leading the body with precision rather than protection ❤️‍🔥

My Method ❤️‍🔥
My teaching lives in the space between strength and softness 🖤 the place where you feel both held and awakened.

I speak calmly and intentionally slow, the kind of cueing that invites you to open up deeper into yourself not out of your body. Combined with tactile touch to help you feel the movement and aliveness pouring out of your body 💦

We work hard, but with a sensual edge. Focussed, present and connected - guiding my clients to alignment and strength, leaving the space full of vitality and ready to create ❤️‍🔥

Release the old, enjoy the new 🍂🦋 by @pilateswithparis

Recently my body has been mirroring this season on transition 🍂 it’s a mix of anticipation, creativity and grounding energy and alive with movement.

It’s always been fascinating to me how our practice reveals our inner world or landscape. Some days I definetely feel more open and fluid and on others more anchored and still. Both have their place.

As the move happens I can sense things settling. My breath is feeling steadier and my energy is stronger. It’s exciting to start this new chapter.

All of this is reminding me that home is not something we find, it’s something we feel. My home is my body and it’s always been this way ❤️🧡❤️

Recently the work I have been doing has got me to reflect on my ‘inner judge’. The judgement of my self as well as judging circumstances and spinning my own narrative on things.

My biggest inner judge about myself is centred around imposter syndrome and it does limit me. I’m slowly moving away from this critic and been able to recognise and shift my thought pattern to something more positive.

When it comes to teaching I always allow grace for things being unpolished ( especially in the beginning). The wobbles, uneven breath or even trying to find connection are all part of the process. Now I’m taking those learnings through movement and applying them to myself. There’s wisdom in the mess.

This is a reminder not only to myself but for anyone who struggles with imposter mentality. it’s not about getting it ‘right’, it’s about staying curious and letting the body and mind learn in its own time and allowing space to grow through repitition 🤍

The more I teach and move, the more I see how deeply Pilates reflects the Taoist principle of Yin and Yang - the balance of opposites within everything.

Every exercise and every breaths is an expression of polarity:
length and the lift
effort and the surrender ⛓️
inhale expanding and the exhale drawing in.

It’s in these opposing forces that energy comes alive ❤️‍🔥

In Pilates, this is what creates flow
the subtle tension between grounding and reaching - between control and release 💦

Just like in life, harmony doesn’t come from choosing one side.
It comes from allowing both to exist, to dance together.

When the body learns this the mind follows.

Yin and Yang.
Strength and softness.
The art of being fully present in both. 🤍

Movement is a privilege.

Not everyone gets to roll out of bed and stretch, dance, walk to the ocean or move freely without pain.
Not everyone gets to explore the depth of their body through Pilates or breathwork.

Some are recovering. Some are healing. Some are just trying to get through the day.

I think about this often & how easily we take our bodies for granted until something shifts.

For me
movement is no longer about perfection, performance or progress.
It’s about reverence ❤️ an act of gratitude for what my body can do today.

Every class I teach, every time I step into the studio or onto the reformer, I remind myself that is not just a job or chore -
It’s a privilege.

🤍

Balance is one of the foundational principles of Pilates. It extends far beyond standing on one leg, it’s about cultivating equilibrium across the entire body and mind.

Symmetry in movement. Pilates trains both sides of the body equally, correcting imbalances caused by posture, repetitive work or injury.

Strength & flexibility. Pilates avoids overtraining one quality at the expense of the other. A balanced body is both strong and supple.

In Taoism (Yin and Yang): This ancient symbol represents the spiritual significance of balancing opposing forces in the universe and in life, illustrating harmony between different elements.
