53, left my heart in Paris in 2015. Love the colour pink and am in my pink Paris era. Creating my own piece of Paris in Napier cbd.

Welcome to my little apartment in Napier that I love to call La Maison Rosè.
I love Paris, the French language (even though I can't speak a word of French past Bonjour & Merci).
Pink is also my favourite colour. by @pinkberet

2020. Five years ago I was on the startline of Auckland Marathon. Seven hours & 55minutes later I crossed the finishline. I am proud of that achievement 5 years ago.
The 42.2km is a distance to be respected. It's not two half marathons back to back. The 2nd half is a mind game, a mental game. You have two options stop & DNF or dig deep & finish.
2023 was the last time I crossed the bridge doing the Half Marathon. Haven't been back since.
Work hard and you can achieve your dreams.
I am proud of the fact I finished without one single blister.
Well done to those who took on the Bridge today. by @pinkberet

It's a beautiful morning out there.
Stairs are good for the soul.
Despite all my numerous recent health issues I am grateful that I am still able to get out and go walking everyday. by @pinkberet

Last day of September. October tomorrow. Must be time to dust off Christmas decorations? by @pinkberet

Thanks to @arkaytattooer for my first tattoo. Was a great experience. Loved it. Would highly recommend Rob if you were looking for a tattoo artist. It was a small one, didn't take long. Felt really relaxed.
Looks good a few days later. I love it. by @pinkberet

From Anne Frank's house, Amsterdam in 2015 to Marine Parade, Napier in 2025.
WW1 was the war end all wars. Then WW2 happened and almost an entire generation of Jews were wiped out because of one person.
110 years on from WW1 society hasn't really learnt much.
Thank you to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to lay their lives down for us.
Would our youth today take up the cause for our country? I don't think so. Some might, but there wouldn't be men lining up & lying about their to fight in a war.

Run/walk estimated 3km/5km tonight. I estimated 32:10 for 3kms. Exceeded my expectations. by @pinkberet

Got to love a bit of swear inducing cardio on a Tuesday morning at @nfinitefitness.
Been 5 years since last on a treadmill & that was doing a 23km training run/walk for Auckland marathon.
Taylor had covid, I was a close contact & couldn't go anywhere.
Thank goodness for the treadmill in the shed. by @pinkberet

Best start to the day.
Morning workout starts with 500 meters on the rower, then onto weights at @nfinitefitness
Walk home brings a great sunrise (of sorts).
Loving the gym. by @pinkberet

Monday morning sunrise. Usually at the gym, but resting a slightly injured elbow & went for a walk instead by @pinkberet

Sunday Morning (16/3/2025). View from my balcony. by @pinkberet

I am a sucker for a moonrise as much as a sunrise. Something about being on the beach, listening to the waves crash & waiting for moon. And tonight's was spectacular. by @pinkberet
