How can you run a fundraiser without sponsors?! You really can’t. We had the BEST of the best for our first annual Pink Power Carnival presented by Midwest Radiology!

With the help of these incredible businesses we were able to raise $15,000!!!! to help fund our Power Grants for MN women in active breast cancer treatment. For our first big event this went above and beyond our expectations.

THANK YOU all so much!! We are just getting started! 🥰🩷🫶🏻 #pinkpowerfoundation #pinkpowercarnival #pinkpowerevents #breastcancersupport #smallbusinessesrock by @pinkpowerhour

Sometimes, Christmas can’t wait. ❤️🎄

Today, we brought Christmas to Kristina.

Not because the calendar said it was time, but because time is something we simply cannot take for granted.

While there are so many things about this disease that we cannot change, today we decided to focus on something we could.

We could bring the magic. We could bring the joy. We could bring Christmas.

While Kristina was at treatment this morning, an incredible group of people came together to transform her home into a Christmas wonderland. Every decoration, every light, every little detail was placed with so much love.

And then came the moments no-one will forget.

Watching Kristina see it for the first time. Watching her children come home to discover that Christmas had arrived early. Watching a family experience a little bit of magic in the middle of something unimaginably heartbreaking.

There was so much joy today hand in hand with sadness. Because sometimes the most beautiful moments are also the ones that remind us just how unfair life can be.

I wish we weren’t doing this.

I wish Kristina had a thousand more Christmas mornings ahead of her. I wish her children never had to know a world where time with their mom was something they had to worry about.

But today, we had Christmas.

We had twinkling lights, beautiful surprises, happy tears, and memories that I hope will be held close for a lifetime.

To every single person who helped make this happen, thank you. You gave this family something that cannot be wrapped in a box.

And to Kristina, we hope you felt every ounce of the love that surrounds you. Because there is so, so much of it.

Christmas isn’t about a date on the calendar. It’s about love. And today, there was more than enough to fill an entire season. ❤️🎄 by @pinkpowerhour

Un-TIL It’s Cured- Here’s an update:

It’s been six months since we cut the ribbon and celebrated the grand opening of our TIL lab!

We’re on track to launch a TIL (tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte) therapy clinical trial in 2028.

The more funds we can raise, the more patients with late-stage metastatic cancer we can treat. Every dollar brings us closer to new treatment options for patients who need hope.

Want to be part of the progress? Donate at z.umn.edu/Give-TIL or directly through any of our philanthropic partners ⬇️
