A trip to Ulysse Collin 🥂 What a treat to taste wines with Olivier. The Les Enfers 2010 base with 96 month age was the highlight 👌🏻 Even their dog joined us!

A fantastic evening at Brooks’s Club on Friday hosting a wine tasting dinner in a stunning setting- very festive! We tasted a selection of classic whites and reds, but the highlight of the evening was Château Talbot 2015 in magnum. A wonderful night of fine wine and great company!🍷

Some tasty things from my camera roll 👌🏻🥂🍷 by @pippaandwine

Rosé in a black bottle? Clos de Capelune from Chateau Saint-Maur certainly stands out! The traditional blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Rolle (also known as Vermentino) is grown high up in the hills around St Tropez, ‘Capelune’ referring to its proximity to the moon! It’s a rosé made for food, with intense aromas of peach and flowers with medium body. The black bottle was originally made for trade, but the Chateau had so many people asking for it that they rolled it out!

We had great tasting at @chateausaintmaur, loved the tasting glasses👌🏻well worth a visit if you’re in the area

A weekend of Venetian eating and drinking 👌🏻. Highlights include Negroni Americano (worth a go for a lighter style, made with sparkling water in place of Gin), Campari & freshly squeezed orange (with breakfast) and a Vesper Martini 🍸. Harrys Bar Bellini was daylight robbery at €22! You can’t beat sitting in the sun drinking a spritz, try a ‘mixed spritz’ which is a mix of Aperol and Campari, it’s both bitter and sweet 🫶🏻

A great overnight stay at @tillinghamwines 🍷A first trying English natural wines and they were surprisingly good! They make 15 blends, a lot of which are experimental styles with only a small amount made. The Quevri White and Tillingham rosé and Pinot Noir are worth a taste. Prices are around £35+, so not the cheapest!

The dinner menu was great- 5 courses, all sustainable and paired with natural wines 👌🏻. Worth staying the night so you can enjoy a glass or 3! The team were great and extremely knowledgable.

Fantastic to taste the wines of Jean-Marc Vincent. A great line up, the Santenay Les Gravieres and Le Beaurepaire were the winners of the night! Lovely depth of flavour and freshness 👌🏻 @medlarchelsea was delicious as always.

An extremely special dinner at @thefatduck before Christmas to celebrate @jessiixxu and @knx1212. Wow, what a selection of wines and dishes! The 03 Ermitage from Chave was sensational, as were all the Domaine Leroy wines. Highly recommend white chocolate and caviar as a pairing, also savoury mince pies! What a treat, thank you @knx1212 🍷

An evening of great company and great wine!🍷 The Guigal 96, Mouton 86 and Pucelles 99 were the wines of the evening for me - amazing intensity and length given their age . The NSG was also lovely and quite moreish!

What an evening tasting all 5 vineyards of Bond 2012 vintage. Vecina and Melbury were the favourites for me. Harlan 99, 09 and 12 were outstanding, 99 being the winner of the evening! Promontory and SQN were also excellent. I throughly enjoyed the Eisele Sauvignon Blanc, quite unusual but delicious 🍷

Thank you as always to @knx1212 for such a special evening!

Fetească Regală, a variety mostly found in Romania. Light and fresh with a lovely perfume of peach, honeysuckle and pear. It’s well worth a try and is great value! This one is from @corneyandbarrow for £10.45 🍐🌸
