Walking into the café at Vienna MuseumsQuartier, I catch a glimpse of the pamphlet stand, and naturally, one particular person draws my attention: it’s the person I’m there for, my significant other, my love, the creative force in our universe of two. I stop and snatch a couple of proud photos but it’s only later that I realize how much I have normalized the fact that she’s been steadily carving her way into the European contemporary dance scene in the past three years. It’s not strange for me –I know what she’s capable of– but the fact that she’s been able to conquer new worlds seemingly easily is loud testament to her talent, hard work, determination and dedication. Oh and then there’s the infectious smile that got me in the first place! Like the song goes: you’ve come a long long way, I have to celebrate you baby, I have to praise you like I should. by @pisbihis

#Carnival is an exciting time in #Brazil no matter if you’re too young and not yet allowed to celebrate outside. Just put a mask on, grab your bestie and enjoy the festivities! #tbt by @pisbihis

Trüf, seen here planted next to my succulents, has appointed me his human after being ditched by his mama at the tender age of 5 months. I’m honored by the appointment and getting used to his constant presence around me. Hope you live to be an old boy you beautiful nuisance. by @pisbihis

Mother and daughter looking out from ancestral grounds at Monte Albán down towards (my dear) Oaxaca. I wish I could have framed this shot better but it was too tender a moment to disturb with my presence, so I just snapped a quick one and quietly walked away. by @pisbihis

Happy new year insta peeps! 🥂🍾 Here’s to seeing eye to eye with your loved ones on crucial issues. [Yes, I do love fish and don’t discriminate against dead (and especially tasty) ones.] by @pisbihis
