The Vaal knows how to turn a daytime link-up into a whole vibe. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ We started our Vaal day at @vaalfarmersmarket, expecting a few good stalls and a chilled market link-up. Then the music came on, the vibes turned up, and the whole place found its rhythm. ๐Ÿงบ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ There was food, local finds and plenty to browse, but the real story was the people. Young people linking up, catching a vibe, having a laugh and making a full day out of being together. No rush. No forced anything. Just good energy. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ The Vaal has always had the river, the water and the weekend escapes. Now it is giving people even more reasons to pull up. More events, more music, more places to eat, dance, meet people and enjoy the day properly. The scene is growing, and it is a beautiful thing to see. ๐Ÿ’Ž Big love to the Vaal people too. The warmth, the pride, the humour and the way you pull up for one another gives the place its own flavour. The culture we document would not be complete without you in it. โค๏ธ We caught some of that on camera, from the market stalls to the people making the day what it was. Save this for your next Vaal link-up and tag the friend who needs to join you for the next one. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ . . . #VaalFarmersMarket #VaalLifestyle #Vanderbijlpark #VaalEvents #SupportLocalSA by @plustwose7en
A year of showing up. A year of bearing witness. ๐ŸŽฅ This one is for every creative, every performer, every builder, every dreamer who let us into their space and trusted us to tell their story. You gave us something real to work with and we donโ€™t take that lightly. Thank you. None of this happens without the people behind it. Big love to our videographers @y.ueliang_ @vee_legacy @marazamc, our editor @y.ueliang, and our presenters @_ugrimm @tlhokie_litabe @the_swaggersmith_za. You showed up, put in the work, and made it all possible. This is yours too. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ We put this compilation together because we believe in what is happening out here. The talent is undeniable. The hunger is real. And not everyone gets to see it, especially the young people in the smaller towns, the rural areas, the places where a creative career still feels like a risk nobody around you has taken before. This is for you too. The path exists. The people doing it are proof. Put in the work, stay true to what lights you up, keep the faith, and the support will find you. We promise. SA, we love you. We are here for it. All of it. Always. ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿพ Happy Youth Day from the PLUSTWOSEVEN family. #YouthDay #June16 #SouthAfrica #CreativeCulture #plustwoseven by @plustwose7en
Punyete Sontaga at 012 Central, Pretoria. Pitori did not come to play with the fits. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘” TIES โ€™Rโ€™ US gave people the theme. The people took it from there. Clean tailoring, vintage pieces, colour and details that had us running the footage back. This one is for everyone who bought the ticket, pulled up for the music and still made sure Pta was represented properly in the drip department. You gave the camera SO to work with. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ฅ Love to @punyetesontaga, @loatinoverpounds and @012central for the space. Love to every person we caught on camera for showing out with intention. Summer is on the way, and so are the events. We cannot wait to share more of the people, places and fits coming out of the Cradle of Humankind. ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆโค๏ธ #PunyeteSontaga #PitoriStyle #PretoriaStreetwear #SouthAfricanStyle #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full recap above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
Punyete Sontaga at 012 Central, Pretoria. Pitori stepped out for a sunny Sunday and the city came dressed. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘” On 20 September, @punyetesontaga brought TIES โ€™Rโ€™ US to the CBD. The assignment was clear. Ties, shirts, vintage touches and a whole lot of personal style. The venue was packed. The music was hitting, people kept dancing and every crew pulled up with their own flavour. ๐Ÿ”Š Big up to @punyetesontaga, @loatinoverpounds and @012central for putting young creatives, music and streetwear at the centre of a Pitori Sunday. Support for youth culture is more than a repost. It is buying the ticket, bringing your people and giving local creatives a crowd to create for. Pitori did that. The Pretoria sun is only getting started. Summer is loading. And the fits? They get their own fit check next. ๐Ÿ‘€ #PunyeteSontaga #PretoriaEvents #PitoriStyle #PretoriaStreetwear #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full recap above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
SAE Institute Creative Festival at SAE Pretoria. Studying animation, gaming, film and sound in South Africa starts with knowing your options. ๐ŸŽฌ On 19 September, @saeinstitutesouthafrica opened its Pretoria campus for a day of student work, music, film, animation and games. We spent the morning getting information from the people teaching and studying in these spaces. ๐ŸŽง We saw Creative Festival online, pulled up independently and left with information more young creatives should have. This is not a paid plug. It is a reminder to take your ideas seriously. You do not need to have every answer before you begin. If you are starting with a passion, a rough idea or zero experience, start by asking questions. Check the entry requirements. Look at higher certificates, short courses and the route that makes sense for where you are right now. ๐Ÿ“š SAE is one route, not the only one. South Africa has places to study film, animation, sound, design, games and performance. Formal study is not the only way into the arts, but it can give you time with the tools, feedback on your work and people to learn alongside. Full interviews and more information are coming to our YouTube and Facebook pages. Follow, subscribe and send this to someone who keeps saying they want to start. ๐Ÿ‘€ #SAECreativeFestival #CreativeArtsSA #StudyCreativeArts #PretoriaCreatives #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full recap above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
Vaal Farmerโ€™s Market Year-End Market at Route 66 Stadium. @tlhokie_litabe checked in with the people who pulled up for the final edition of 2026. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’š Tlhokie got straight to it. First time here? What are you loving? Is this one better than the last? Then we got to the real business. The fit checks. ๐Ÿ”ฅ The answers were honest. The fits were clean. The dancing did not let up. The Vaal came to enjoy itself. Big up to @vaalfarmersmarket for putting the year-end market together. We had fun finding out who was new, what people rate about the market and who came dressed for the camera. Missed this one? @vaalfarmersmarket is back on 1 January. Lock in, bring your people and come with a fit that can handle the camera. ๐Ÿ‘€ #VaalFarmersMarket #VanderbijlparkEvents #VaalStyle #VaalEvents #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full recap above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
Vaal Farmerโ€™s Market Year-End Market in Vanderbijlpark. A local trip worth taking. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’š On 3 October, people pulled up to Route 66 Stadium for the last @vaalfarmersmarket of the year. Music, fashion, food, familiar faces and a day with no need to rush home. @russellzumaofficial and @justsam_rsa, alongside the rest of the dayโ€™s performers, shut the stage down and had people dancing wherever they found space. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ”ฅ The Vaal youth came through in full colour. The fits, the dancing and the random link-ups turned a Saturday into a whole occasion. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Big love to @vaalfarmersmarket for making room for local farmers, artisans and small businesses. And respect to @theebuhlefoundation for running the donation bin for school clothes and sanitary products. โค๏ธ Vaal people, you made this one land. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ Your next summer plan might be an hour down the road. Find the market, festival or link-up, fill the car and go see what the next town has put together. South Africa has too much on offer for us to stay home every weekend. ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ #VaalFarmersMarket #VanderbijlparkEvents #VaalEvents #LocalTravelSA #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full recap above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
Porsche Loftus Day 2026 at Loftus Rugby Stadium. Modern and classic Porsches, proper Pretoria car culture and a cause worth getting behind. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ On 19 July, the D Field brought Porsche owners, families, enthusiasts and supporters together for a morning built around cars across generations. This year also marked 75 years of Porsche at Le Mans. From the car displays to the stories behind them, the field gave Porsche history plenty of room to breathe. ๐Ÿš— There was more happening than the cars on show. Raffles, auctions, parts, food, coffee, music and people catching up all added to the day. The cars brought everyone in, but the community is what made it land. The charity stayed at the centre too. Porsche Loftus Day supported @playersfund_sa, the Chris Burger/Petro Jackson Playersโ€™ Fund, which supports rugby players with catastrophic injuries. โค๏ธ Big respect to @porscheclubcentral, @porschecentre_pta and the organising crew for bringing this Pretoria tradition together. We pulled up to capture the cars, the people and everything happening in between. #PorscheLoftusDay #PorscheSouthAfrica #PretoriaCarCulture #ClassicPorsche #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full recap above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
YFM First Touch at Marks Park. For the ballers and the music heads. โšฝ๏ธ๐ŸŽถ @_ugrimm pulled through with us on 12 September 2026 as @yfm brought five-a-side diski, padel and local music together in Joburg. Some of us have better rhythm than ball control. Thereโ€™s room for that too. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thatโ€™s what we rate about the First Touch idea. You can come for the competition, back your friends or make a day of the music. You donโ€™t have to play to get involved. Shoutout to @yfm and the organising crew for giving sport and local artists space on the same programme. Respect to the players, performers and everyone working behind the scenes to put the day together. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ Weโ€™re here for more Saturdays with the crew, a game to catch and music to move to. #YFMFirstTouch #FirstTouch #Diski #JoburgEvents #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full recap above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
YFM First Touch at Marks Park gave the Joburg crew a reason to link up. โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ @tlhokie_litabe joined us on the ground on 12 September 2026 for a day of diski, padel and music. The teams had their competition on one side. A few steps away, the YFM stage had its own thing going. DJ sets and live performances, with XDuppy, Shakes & Les and DJ Tshegu on the line-up. ๐ŸŽถ You could back your team, head over for a set, grab a bite and catch up with your people. A sports day and a proper groove in one place. No need for a spot on the team sheet to enjoy the day. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Thatโ€™s the side of the culture we love to see. People making time to come together, whether they pull through for the game, the music or just a Saturday with the crew. Big love to @yfm and everyone behind First Touch for putting the games, music and space to hang out on the same programme. And love to the teams and supporters who made time to pull through. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ Joburg, letโ€™s keep making time for days like these. #YFMFirstTouch #FirstTouch #MarksPark #JoburgEvents #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full clip above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
YFM First Touch at Marks Park. The games, the music, the people. Joburg showed up. ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ On 12 September 2026, diski and padel brought the competition, while the YFM stage brought DJ sets and live performances just a few steps away. Add food, friends and time to catch up, and you had plenty of ways to spend the day. โšฝ๏ธ๐ŸŽถ You could come to play, back your team or head straight for the music. Not everyone came for the same thing, and that was part of the fun. This recap gives every side of First Touch its moment. The players on the pitch and courts, the talent on stage, the vendors and the people enjoying it all. We wanted to capture the whole day, not just one part of it. Thank you to @yfm for inviting us and providing our tickets. We appreciated the welcome and the chance to document the day while enjoying it with everyone. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ Big love to everyone who put in the work, brought their people and made time to pull through. Days like this give us a chance to enjoy what our local talent and communities have to offer. More days like this, please. ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ #YFMFirstTouch #FirstTouch #SouthAfricanYouthCulture #JoburgEvents #PlusTwoSe7en Watch the full recap above. ๐ŸŽฌ by @plustwose7en
