Never Ever After | Jin and Yining 🪷🐟✨

Here is another monthly bookish fanart piece! And just in time for Forever More’s release on Oct 27th!

I originally had a very different idea for these two (swipe for my messy first sketch) but after re-reading my favorite parts, I realized that I wanted to give them a moment of their own outside of the palace. I thought that suits them and their story development better 🫣 It was also so much fun incorporating the title into their surroundings. A little nudge that maybe magic is always hiding in plain sight✨ oh and let it be known that I am team Jin!

The whole crew has arrived!🥀

I have one more illustration planned with all of them interacting so I’m excited for that! I wanted this to showcase more of their individual style/vibe. This was a fun little project to get me in the fall mood and now I’m itching to draw other fantasy beings🌚

- process pics will be up on Patreon also!

Valko.. 🐺

Just something a little emo to start your day! In my head, he’s the type to bite off his gloves in a cool way but also his way to self soothe… okay that’s all. I miss him! Bring him hoooome

My vampire gals, Dom & Jackie🥀

I’m so excited for fall, I’m already getting into the spooky, fantasy mood! I’m also a big vampire fan thanks to Van Helsing and TVD so this is another way to indulge myself😌 when I get my hands on a vampire novel I will be so ready for the fanart.

2/4 of the bite crew is here, the other two are on their way!

A little study🪶⛲️

It’s always nice taking a break from my usual people/full render style to do something more relaxed and painterly. I was so excited to use textured brushes on the statue! It came out as I imagined😌

What if you could undo all your regrets and choose the best life?
Well, here’s your chance at…

The Midnight Library✨📚♟️

Honestly, I struggled a bit with this piece but it was also lots of fun! I sat with it for about the same duration as reading the book (a week and a half??). It was nice coming back to it with fresh eyes and more clarity after reading further. One of my favorite ways to commemorate finishing a book is with an illustration so yay! Here’s to another one🥂

+ process thoughts and pics as you swipe! I love seeing other people’s creative process especially now when we need more appreciation for human-made art!! The final result is cool but so are all the little decisions and details along the way.

Character sheet from Voicemails for Isabelle📱💌

It’s kinda messy but this is how I get things off my chest because this movie had me sobbing! As a little sister with an older sister, I definitely cried for both of them.

Lover boy✨I know he’s the MMC to someone’s book somewhere out there.

I redrew the hair and face so many times but we got there in the end😌 hopefully this is the first of many character sheets!

I love the colors and aesthetic of The Phantom of the Opera. It’s so moody it naturally puts me in a fantasy headspace for studies.

Recent studies and sketches🐞 it’s always nice to do something more painterly and loose after drawing super rendered illustrations!

A lingering moment…

Swipe for process pics >> A little dark academia vibe for this one📚 I’m starting to find a rendering style for clothing I like so I really need to double down on it because I think it looks so good when it comes together!
