Fall will always feel like home
Golden hues of self-love
Shedding layers beautifully
Like the leaves, making way for growth...

She whispers in rainbows
The sky can no longer hold
Fairytale words that carry wisdom
Formed from God, as she told
Prayers molded from hands of gold
A glimpse of heaven
A glimpse of peace
A glimpse of she to be
Created from clay
For he, to obey
Whispers in rainbows
The sky can no longer hold
Fairytale words that carry truth
Formed by God as he told.

The lake that once held your reflection is no longer there
Evaporated image into thin air
I stand in what's left
The foundation that couldn't be cleft
Remaining in roots of truth
Surrounded by love preserving youth
Mountains and trees
A scenery that doesn't displease
Resetting Reviving & Reborn
A new memory to adorn.

Somewhere in the clouds
Memories lay to rest
My favorite captures are gone
Wiped from where they no longer reside
Storage isn't full anymore
But somehow, my heart is
Experiences are greater than a collection
A collectible that lives within
Treasures are held in memory banks
Truly impacting ones
The ones that hold growth but also sorrow
& I'll sit here in silence
Tasting such beautiful poetry that no longer exists.

There they were setting with the sun
Memories whispering sweet goodbyes
Laying them to rest
So that I can too be reborn on this day
I'll always carry a ray of the sun with me
As it will always light my way
It will always light my way
Light my way.
