The EDS representation in this series is what makes it so wonderful to me aside from being a fantasy nerd. EDS is one of those conditions that isent really showcased, but is really difficult to live with. Trying to survive and fight against your own body is exhausting, but I will continue to show up day after day. The only way out is through, and that is why this character speaks so loudly to me. I also love the symbolism of Poette being Tairn because he protects violet with his life and keeps her on her feet. Patches designed by me (not for recreation please.) and brought to life by the amazing @zsdoggear! Thank you so much for bringing my vision to life :)) ๐Ÿท๏ธ โšก๏ธ โš”๏ธ #servicedog #fourthwing #elhersdanlossyndrome #notalldisabilitiesarevisible #chronicillness @rebeccayarros by @poettes.purpose

NY State canine expo 2026 photo dump ๐Ÿ“ธ ๐Ÿพ ๐Ÿ™๏ธ This trip was so much fun and I hope we can come again next year. Good friends, good sports, amazing memories <3 โ™ฅ๏ธŽ #photography #medicalalertservicedog #servicedog #chronicillness #disabled by @poettes.purpose
Poette earned her first title this weekend! ๐ŸŽ–๏ธ ๐Ÿ† ๐ŸŒŠ This weekend we travelled all the way to New York to attend the @nyscanineexpo! I entered Poe into her second ever NADD competition event and we walked out with our dock junior title! For some, it may seem like just a ribbon, but it is so much more. This is the first title Iโ€™ve ever had the pleasure of putting on a dog. The first dog I raised and own myself. My entry into dog sports I never thought I would get the chance to pursue. It all started with a dream, and now itโ€™s our reality. I couldnโ€™t be more thankful. Itโ€™s not just a ribbon, itโ€™s a token of our dedication. Itโ€™s the countless hours spent on and off the dock. Itโ€™s the research Iโ€™ve poured into learning on Poeโ€™s behalf to help her grow. The frustration, the joy, and everything in between. Maybe this sounds dramatic, but to us this is a monumental moment. I am having the time of my life shaping this dog into the athlete she is. The sky is the limit my girl. I am so proud of us :) AKCโ€™s โ€œDepartment of Broken Heartsโ€ โœจ DJ โœจ โ™ฅ๏ธŽ #photography #medicalalertservicedog #servicedog #chronicillness #disabled by @poettes.purpose

We had a fun little evening at the fair! ๐ŸŽก โœจ Poe, Remus, and Elliot all got to go to the fair last night! They did so good with all the people, smells, farm animals, and all the other stimuli. It was such a fun time. One of the game hosts even gave them toys ๐Ÿ˜‚ Poe is obsessed with that blue Dino ๐Ÿฆ•. โ™ฅ๏ธŽ #photography #medicalalertservicedog #servicedog #chronicillness #disabled by @poettes.purpose
