👟✨ As a podiatrist, I’m here to keep your feet happy, healthy, and stylish! But not every popular shoe brand gets my stamp of approval. 🛑 Here are 3 shoe brands I wouldn’t recommend (and why): 1️⃣ Crocs: They might be comfy, but they lack proper arch support and long-term stability for your feet. 2️⃣ UGG Platform Slippers: Cosy, yes. Supportive? Not so much. The elevated platform can lead to instability and increase the risk of ankle injuries. 3️⃣ Skechers: While they have cushioning, many styles don’t provide the structural support needed for healthy foot mechanics. 👣 Your feet deserve better! Let’s prioritise support, comfort, and health over trends. Want recommendations for podiatrist-approved shoes? Now that I have quite a few more followers, I thought it’s about time for a proper introduction! 👋 Hi, I’m Lucinda - a podiatrist and the proud owner of my very own practice, which I built from the ground up. This journey has been one of determination, hard work, and a deep passion for helping people live healthier, more comfortable lives. 👣 Becoming a podiatrist has allowed me to make a real difference, whether it’s helping someone walk pain-free again or guiding patients toward better foot health. It’s a career I truly love, and I’m so grateful for the trust my patients place in me every day. 💛 Thank you all for being part of my journey. Here’s to continuing to grow, connect, and help others one step at a time. ✨ #foothealth #podiatry #footcare #growth #womeninbusiness by @poizedpodiatry

Trainers lose their cushioning and support long before they look worn out. If yours have been with you since 2016, your feet might be trying to tell you something 👟 #poizedpodiatry #westkirby #foothealth #wirral #healthyfeet by @poizedpodiatry
“Half of AI’s health answers are wrong” 2026 BMJ Study. Are we surprised? No. Do patients use it still? Of course, but we understand why. 🔎 We took to googling “heel pain” for you, then analysed the answers. While often not incorrect, they certainly need to be taken with a pinch (or heap) of salt. The only way to truly address your unique cause of pain and get it treated properly, is by being seen by an expert. Time to swap Dr Google for a Podiatrist?
