Hi! This is another technique that is featured throughout my upcoming book ❤️ together with @laine_magazine .

I absolutely love how this 3D braid looks, and I can’t wait to share more of what’s coming soon!

Yarns @artyarns

¡Hola!

Sometimes we only see the final piece… but behind every knit, there’s a process ✨
Hours of trial and error, ideas coming and going, and a deep desire to create something special.
This video is just a small glimpse of it 🤍

Pope Vergara (@popevergara), a knitwear designer from Chile, has always loved knitting with beads. To her, they are a way to paint, to draw, and to transform knitting into something unique, allowing even the simplest garment to stand out with a touch of sparkle. “When I began designing patterns, my intention was that whoever knits them feels proud of what they created — and that when they wear their garment, they shine!”

Pattern previews for Shine! are now available at Laine website and Ravelry.

Which one’s your favourite? We’d love to know! by @popevergara

✨ COMMENT LEONORA AND I’LL SEND YOU A GIFT + THE PATTERN LINK ✨

Finally! ❤️ The Leonora Sweater pattern is now available in my Ravelry store.

I started working on this design over a year ago in Spain, when I decided to turn my Leonora Cardigan into a sweater.

From dyeing the yarn with my Spanish friends and Knitting Booh, to knitting it, writing the pattern, grading it into 9 sizes, testing it, and preparing it in both English and Spanish.

It’s one of the most complex patterns I’ve ever designed, combining intarsia worked flat with intarsia in the round using short rows, plus an incredible play of color and texture.

A design made for playing, exploring, and truly making it your own. ❤️

✨ Comment LEONORA and I’ll send you the pattern link + a special gift.

✨ LEONORA SWEATER ✨

¡A Brillar! ✨

Hi! 🧶✨

Today I want to talk to you about Intarsia Breeze, one of the patterns you’ll find in my book Shine! Knitting with Beads, with @laine_magazine 📖💛

It’s a cardigan inspired by joy and by the happy moments we have in life. In this pattern I used two techniques I’ve been working with throughout my career as a designer, intarsia and I-cord braids ❤️ Bringing these two techniques together creates a truly beautiful result.

And I have to confess: along with A-line, it was one of the most challenging patterns I’ve ever written. But it’s also so much fun to knit and really different from other patterns 🧵 I’d love see your projects! 🌸

Shine! ✨
