Sometimes the first signs of hormone imbalance don’t show up in reports. They show up on your face. Thyroid issues, high prolactin, insulin resistance, high androgens, and elevated cortisol can all subtly affect your skin, puffiness, pigmentation, acne patterns, and facial fat distribution. These changes often appear quietly and are easy to dismiss as “just skin issues,” but the root may be metabolic or hormonal. Understanding these signs early can help you take the right steps with nutrition, lifestyle, and medical guidance before symptoms progress. If you have been noticing unexplained changes in your face, your body may be asking for deeper support. 💬 Comment YES if you want help improving your hormones, metabolism, and overall health the right way. . . . . . . ⚠️Disclaimer: This content is for educational purposes only and does not replace medical advice. these “healthy” foods might be the reason you’re not losing fat… just because it’s healthy doesn’t mean it’s helping your goals avocados nuts yogurt all great foods… but also insanely easy to overeat they’re calorie-dense, which means small portions = big calories and that can quietly stall your progress trying to lose fat? prioritize high protein, low calorie foods egg whites skinless chicken breast butternut squash trying to gain weight? now those “healthy” calorie bombs become your advantage eggs nuts full-fat yogurt same foods… different goal… completely different strategy stop eating based on “healthy” start eating based on what actually gets you results Now yes you can still fit these "gain weight foods in your diet but, this is a general rule of thumb that worked for me to lose a ton of weight Comment: "Snacks" for my favorite low-calories snacks that are almost impossible to overeat and follow me @zach_faerber for more tips to lose the weight and keep it off #fatloss #womensfatloss #healthyswaps #womenshealth #womensnutrition

Comment “PCOD” for customised diet and workout plan to reverse PCOD. Save and share the reel with everyone PCOD is becoming common among teenage girls. Some “healthy” foods may unknowingly worsen hormonal imbalance. 🥛 Dairy: Limit milk if it worsens symptoms. Prefer buttermilk or plant-based options. 🍫 Chocolate: Avoid sugary milk chocolate. Choose 70%+ dark chocolate for better insulin sensitivity. 🍎 Fruit Juices: Juicing removes fiber and spikes sugar. Always choose whole fruits. Small food swaps can support better hormone balance in PCOD. 1. Train hard 7 days a week 2. Ignore low energy and call it “discipline” 3. Undereat to stay lean 4. Train the same through every phase of my cycle 5. Treat recovery like weakness I used to think being tough meant overriding every signal my body gave me. That mindset helped me become a UFC champion. It also taught me the hard way that pushing harder isn’t always pushing smarter. Now? I train differently. I recover differently. And honestly… I’m stronger because of it. Your body isn’t asking you to quit. It’s asking you to adapt. 💪 #TrainSmart #WomensHealth #HormoneHealth #UFC #MMA

Currently 3 days out from my period and this filter is so accurate I cannot explain it 😭😭😭 We can all agree this is a UNIVERSAL girlhood experience, but WHY? It has to do with the way our hormones and fertility change throughout our cycle! The first half your cycle, estrogen hormone is rising and peaking when you ovulate! Estrogen makes you feel HOTTTT, social, fun, thinner, you hold onto less water, you’re stronger and have more energy. Plus, biologically we are wired to feel more attractive when we’re fertile and can get pregnant (the days before ovulation + ovulation itself) so we go out and GET SOME 😌 But, once ovulation happens, estrogen hormone drops and progesterone hormone comes in. This is the hormone that SHOULD make you feel calm, a little more introverted and relaxed the week before your period (aka your luteal phase). By nature, you’re also more critical the week before your period because your body doesn’t know if it’s pregnant yet so it needs to protect you from potential danger (so cool)!! When your hormones are out of balance, LOW progesterone and HIGH estrogen in your luteal phase (the 1-2 weeks before your period), you feel like TRASH. You’re anxious, moody, irritable, you feel like an ugly troll, you can’t sleep, have insane cravings and feel like you gained 15 pounds over night. Good news is we can FIX THIS. Bringing estrogen & progesterone back into balance solves this problem. You’re never going to feel you’re prettiest the week before your period though 😂 It’s my job to help you balance hormones, feel amazing in your body and understand your cycle and fertility because we were NEVER taught this in school!! Feel free to follow along if you love to learn about this stuff 💕💕💕 #luteal #lutealphase #pmsing #periods #womenshealth
