Day 31: Flower - “I have never loved flowers less because they carried dirt.” -Subh My dear Amany’s children STILL NEED sponsor’s for their schooling! We have $253 out of $200 for the month of November, Please make a donation to help us reach the goal of $300. Even better than that, is if you can commit to a monthly donation so we can ensure the children are able to continue their studies without the stress and panic of begging for help every month. Go to 4 in my Iinktree and make recurring monthly donation for whatever amount you can spare, even $5 helps! @amany_eshtewy Thank you to @coffeesforgaza for this wonderful prompt list, and opportunity to share my art and advocate for Pąļęșțįņę and the families I have come to know and love. #peacetober2026 by @postcards_from_pdx
$55/$300! Become part of the effort to sponsor these 3 brilliant children to attend school. It is $100 each per child. 🌞Judi should be in the 9th grade, and was so brilliant in English, and math, she even tutored her peers. 🌺Hala recovered from chickenpox earlier this year! She should be in 5th grade and was the top of her class in English and spelling. 👑Moataz was the top student in his class last year, excelling in math, reading, writing, and Arabic! Go to 4. In my Iinktree for Amany, or follow the QR code in slide three, or go to chuffed[dot]org[slash]project[slash]helpmychildren by @postcards_from_pdx
Day 4: Light - “Whoever lives by depriving others of light drowns himself in the darkness of his own shadow.” Mahmoud Darwish Amany and Wael’s children bring so much light to my life. Judi, Hala, and Motaz are wonderful brilliant children, and desperately need your support for their education. It is $100 per month, per child, for them to attend school. I am asking you to be apart of the effort to sponsor them to continue school, where each of them are in the top of their class. Go to 4. In my Iinktree for Amany and make an ongoing monthly donation to help these children go to school. Thank you to @coffeesforgaza for this prompt list #peacetober2026 @amany_eshtewy @crimsonrammbler by @postcards_from_pdx

On Saturday, 4/11, we ride for liberation. 🕊️🕊️🕊️ Join us in solidarity with the Global Sumud Movement as the flotillas set sail once again to challenge the siege on G@za. Just like before, Oregonians are stepping up, on the ground and at sea, to support this mission. ⛵️When governments fail, people will sail. Find us at the vibrant Ladds 500! Stop by our table to learn more about the flotilla, grab snacks, lemonade, spokes cards, and other merch, and help us reach 500 laps for G@za. For every lap completed, funds will go directly to G@za families and the flotilla effort. 🚴‍♀️WHERE: Ladd Circle Park & Rose Gardens, look for painted flotilla and boat signs.
 🚴‍♀️WHEN: 10AM – 5PM We can’t wait to ride with you. ✨ Stay radical ✨ 🕊️FREE FALASTIN 🕊️ by @postcards_from_pdx
Art Social + Fundraiser for Didi 🇵🇸 @khalafdidi 📍 Core PDX | 🗓 Sat 2/28 | ⏰ 1–4pm Hello friends and comrades, ✨We’re closing out February with our monthly Art Social at Core Bar and Food Carts (indoors). This month, Core is also allowing us to host a merch table to raise Ramadan funds for our friend Didi and her children in Gaaxza. Our goal is $500. 💔Didi lost her brothers in 2023. That same year, she gave birth to twins by cell phone light, without medical care, and named them after her brothers. She now lives with her husband, five children, and her parents in the remains of her family’s apartment in north Gaaxza. 🎁This fundraiser will help provide food and clothing for her children during Ramadan. How you can help: Share this invite with your circles Grab some merch at the art social If you can’t attend the event, please donate what you can - every dollar counts. 🧧Donations can be sent via Venmo to Mads (please write DIDI) or directly to Didi’s Chuffed fundraiser: see details in my bio link. ✨Join us to make art, be in community, and celebrate Lunar New Year and Ramadan together. Mads will be leading a meditative Zen-tangle session. The merch table will feature stickers, vases, herbal products by BMads, patches, and Lunar New Year–inspired art. ✊🏾Let’s show up for Didi, with care, solidarity, and joy. by @postcards_from_pdx
