🍕 Post Pike Georgetown has it all: Delicious pizza, a secret patio, the best lunch special in town, and exceptional community vibes in Seattle’s oldest neighborhood. We sat down with Onjoli — owner, business partner, single mother, and self-proclaimed pineapple-on-pizza person (argue in the comments if you must) — to hear her story and the story of Post Pike Georgetown. Head to the link in our bio to read our full conversation and learn more about:
🌞 Post Pike’s secret patio
🍕 Onjoli’s personal pizza order (by the way, we tried it and it’s SO good)
🍺 The lunch special that might be the best deal in the city ($3 Rainiers, anyone?)

🗺️ Find Onjoli and the Post Pike crew in Georgetown on Airport Way!

Did you know about this secret patio in Georgetown? 🤫

You can find it at @postpikegeorgetown! They are going to be your new queer-friendly neighborhood hangout spot! 🌈

Owned by Onjoli & Max, this inclusive spot serves up:
🍕 Creative pizzas (don’t miss the market breakfast pizza)
🥪 Vegan-friendly + gluten-free bites (the pesto sandwich is 🔥)
🍻 $7 Pizza and beer happy hour deal
🎶 A lively patio with live music, karaoke & drag bingo!

We love their space so much and love that they feature new local artists every month! Head here and celebrate the last bits of summer on their patio. ☀️

On the First Thursday of 2025, Soil Gallery will present work from its newest members, one of whom is Julia Monté. Soil describes her work “as using primarily found objects discarded on the sides of roads and other recycled materials.” But I have always found Monté’s visions to be bold, striking, and powerfully intuitive. And her “Rare Earth Theory” painting is one of the best pieces I have seen in 2024. If you can’t make the show at Soil, you can visit her Instragram account @rare.joolz (lots of art pics there) or the marvelous bathroom in Post Pike Bar & Cafe Georgetown.

Soil Gallery’s Controllables: Work from SOIL’s Newest Members opens on January 2, 2025 (5pm-8pm)

Now showing at Post Pike in Georgetown is the work of our arts coordinator, Julia Monté! Besides finding artists and curating the walls of Post Pike, she is also a mixed media artist and writer. She grew up in the metroplex of Dallas, Texas, which was burgeoning and expanding greatly in the early and mid 2000s. The stilted highway overpasses and seemingly infinite mess of scaffolds in the rapidly developing city were highly enchanting to her – the structures all butting up against each other and directing mass communal experiences. Find her 2- and 3-dimensional work, influenced by the precarious infrastructure and surrounding systems that guide our everyday life, on view through December.
