Addie Johnston (Sparta ’28 🏀🏃‍♀️) heard about PowerStrength from her brother training with us. So do friends from school. She decided to get started to prepare for the upcoming basketball season and has put in a strong 3-months.

She attends 2 sessions per week alongside basketball practice. Getting faster, jumping higher, and building full body strength is the goal.

We can’t wait to watch her on the court this season. Great work, Addie! 💪 by @powerstrengthts

11 months ago, Colt Bonstell was about 175 pounds and, in his words, “kind of out of shape.”

Today, the Zeeland West Senior is 195 pounds, throwing harder, hitting harder, and committed to play baseball at Grace Christian University.

He trains at PowerStrength Holland 3 sessions per week. What sold him was the small groups: “I connect more with the coaches and the small group sessions.”

His advice: “It’s always important to go the extra mile.”

Congrats on the commitment, Colt! by @powerstrengthts

Brody Ray (Rockford ’28 🥍) is committed to play lacrosse at the University at Albany.

He started training at PowerStrength in 7th grade, following his older brother Braylon, who now plays college lacrosse at Lewis. By 8th grade, Brody had moved up into our Premier Advanced Training program, training alongside seniors about to graduate.

His dad, Justin, watched him go from timid against bigger opponents to confident against anyone. “He’s not a big guy, but the way he can push weight around, it’s a mind game.”

His advice to other parents: “100%, it’s worth it.” by @powerstrengthts

At the start of the Summer, Adam Cherveny came to PowerStrength to get stronger for baseball.

A few months later, the East Grand Rapids Junior (’28 ⚾) says it’s showing up in his game:

“I’ve definitely gotten a lot stronger. Hitting the ball harder, for sure. Everything’s just that much better.”

Adam realized the perspective more and more serious baseball players are coming around to: the gap between good and great increasingly comes down to who’s put in the off-field work. by @powerstrengthts

15 inches added to her broad jump in 3 months.

Alexis Pearson (Kenowa Hills ’30 🥎) trains at PowerStrength Alpine 2 sessions a week, building strength, speed, and rotational power for travel softball with Arsenal.

She brings a smile to every session and goes out of her way to make new athletes feel welcome. She competes on every rep and it’s paying off. Most notably, she’s dropped over a tenth and a half on her fully-electric 10-yard sprint 🤯

And she’s just getting started! by @powerstrengthts

Even during football season, Adan Diaz (Byron Center ’31 🏈⚾) has made time to train.

He has trained at PowerStrength Byron Center for 3 months, 2 sessions per week, often alongside his twin brother. He came in to get stronger and quicker and to keep his throwing arm healthy.

Now that football is over, he’s back in during the week, getting ready for travel baseball.

We are excited to follow a strong baseball season this spring, Adan. by @powerstrengthts
