Ready to take on evil Corpo Bosses and their Minions? Choose your hero and let’s get to work!

All across the land, Corpo Bosses and their Minions are sucking the life out of everything. Beware of their attacks: they’ll try to buy, bully, or bamboozle to get what they want…

You’ve got to fight them, call on your allies, and bring the land back to life!

… OK, so CORPO CRUSH might not be a real videogame (for now!), but these tactics are very real and corporations use them all over the country to exploit our communities and gain power. It’s up to us—everyday people—to expose them and fight back.

Sign up at the link in our bio for:

• Resources and news about CORPO CRUSH (materials coming soon!)
• Real life examples of how corporations use these tactics
• Ways that communities and groups are fighting back—and how you can get involved.

VIDEO DESCRIPTION: A white lightning bolt flashes across the screen and reveals a retro sidescroller videogame screen with a vibrant, colorful landscape. The main hero character (a POC woman warehouse worker holding a box and a lightning bolt) stands on screen as the color in the background fades to gray and four villains walk on screen. They are the Corpo Boss and his three minions: buy, bully, and bamboozle. The Corpo Boss is a big man in a suit stuffed with money and the minions are all gray skinned faceless men wearing suits. They each hold unique attack items. Other hero characters appear on screen to face off against the villains. The video cuts to the title scene which says CORPO CRUSH. The video returns to a character selection screen, where different characters appear: the student (a woman in a purple dress, red hijab, backpack, holding books); the renter (a woman in a green wheelchair with a housing justice sign); the climate organizer (a man with a baby in a papoose and a megaphone); and the warehouse worker. The warehouse worker is selected as the hero and the game begins. Continued below... by @powerswitchaction

Wondering how we take on greedy corporations — and win? We got you. We're PowerSwitch Action, a community of people organizing in cities all across the country. For the past 20 years we've been winning fights for working people, racial and gender justice, safe, affordable homes, and a livable planet. We're gonna break down jargon and difficult concepts so you know what’s going on. We're gonna lift up stories of grassroots leaders on the front lines. Amazon data centers power ICE’s deportation machine and the SAVE tool Trump wants to use to decide who gets to vote.

In Chicago, a coalition of teachers, community organizers, and faith groups went directly to an Amazon distribution warehouse to deliver a letter demanding the corporation stand with democracy and keep their hands off our vote.

Amazon security blocked us and refused to deliver our letter. by @powerswitchaction

Billionaires and fascists are enriching themselves by taking from the rest of us. Now with an election coming, the billionaires know we’re furious and they’re scared they’ll lose it all. That’s why Trump and his billionaire buddies are trying so hard to keep you from voting.

But if the billionaires take away your freedom to vote — something foundational to democracy — we get dragged even deeper into fascism, and it becomes much harder to get free.

If you've already cast your ballot, thank you for being a voter.

If you still need to vote, you can find your polling place and other key information using the link in our bio. by @powerswitchaction

Dolores Huerta (1930-2026)

Today, we mourn and honor a revolutionary Chicana feminist, labor organizer, survivor, and lifelong force of resistance who fought exploitation, injustice, and oppression. Her commitment and dedication to collective liberation changed history.

In 1962, she co-founded the National Farm Workers Association (that later became the United Farm Workers) and in 1965, her union joined the Delano grape strike launched by Filipino farmworkers. Huerta helped take their fight nationwide through a grape boycott. She helped lead strikes and boycotts that changed working conditions for farmworkers and in the end brought powerful growers to the negotiating table.

Beyond her fight for laborers who feed America, she fought for immigrant rights, gender justice, and redefined the role of women, wives, and mothers on the picket lines.

This year, Dolores showed a different kind of courage. She shared her own story of sexual abuse, and in doing so, she taught us that a movement built on women’s suffering is not liberation. When women are expected to suffer for the sake of racial unity, that is not liberation. Liberation means nothing if survivors are left behind. Her courage to speak out has helped so many of us feel less alone.

Dolores Huerta coined the words “¡Sí se puede!” to always remind us that yes, it is possible, we are possible, and a new world is possible. Her battle cry continues to inspire movements for justice today.

Rest in power, Dolores Huerta.
¡Sí se puede!

Billionaires like Jeff Bezos have made out big under Trump. Is that why Amazon is so willing to enable the regime’s attempts to sabotage our election?

Amazon claims to be pro-democracy, while pursuing profits at all costs. They’re letting ICE, Palantir, DHS, and other fascists use Amazon data centers, giving money to politicians who lie about election results, and hosting Trump’s voter rejection tool on Amazon servers.

Amazon’s participation coincides with massive benefits, at all of our expense. by @powerswitchaction

Rising costs, ICE violence, and billionaires and fascists trying to keep you from voting — it’s all connected.

This pattern happens over and over again.
A handful of billionaires and corporate executives buy, bully, and bamboozle to make our government serve their interests instead of the public good.
They raise the cost of pretty much everything.
They redirect our tax dollars from food and healthcare to tax cuts for corporations and the ultra rich.

Then to divide us and distract us from the misery they’re creating, the billionaires and politicians blame immigrants, trans folks, and people of color. To further their fear and intimidation tactics, Trump and his cronies have turned to state violence. Corporations and billionaires power and profit off that too.

But all those things are happening because billionaires and fascists have way too much power over our government. The high prices and masked thugs will keep happening until we stop the fascists, rein in the corporations, and make our government work for our communities. We can’t meaningfully address the cost of living or state violence without taking apart the authoritarian machine. by @powerswitchaction

Can we really make corporations stand up to Trump? We've done it before:

- When Trump sent masked agents to terrorize people in Minnesota, neighbors of every age, color, and class organized. Small businesses closed in protest. The community refused to cower. That forced Trump to give up and end the ICE occupation.

- After ABC initially gave in to Trump’s threats and pulled Jimmy Kimmel’s show off the air, public outcry pushed the broadcaster to reinstate his show.

- When Avelo Airlines was helping ICE fly our neighbors out of the country and away from their homes, organizing and public pressure made the airline cancel ICE flights.

The billionaires and fascists can’t succeed without a whole lot of people going along with them. By getting organized and getting loud we can create that public pressure once again. by @powerswitchaction

Billionaires like Jeff Bezos have made out big under Trump. Is that why Amazon is so willing to enable the administration’s attempts to sabotage our election?

Last week we released a new report on Amazon’s complicity. Here are our findings:

#1: Amazon data centers are powering Trump’s voter elimination tool. The ‘SAVE’ database at DHS falsely flags eligible voters for removal. It’s more likely to falsely flag new Americans, Black people, older people, people who’ve changed their names, the list goes on. SAVE runs on Amazon servers.

#2: Amazon funds election deniers, despite promising not to. That includes politicians who voted against certifying the 2020 election, and giving half a million dollars to a dark money organization that encouraged people to join the January 6 ‘Stop the Steal’ rally at the Capitol.

#3: Amazon’s alignment with Trump has been great for Amazon. Amazon’s participation coincides with massive benefits, at the people’s expense: $3.672 billion in federal contracts, and a handout of $8 billion of our tax dollars.

Here’s the good news: People across the country are taking action to call Amazon out and protect our elections. In a democracy, the voters get to pick our leaders. Leaders don’t get to pick their voters.

Amazon, here are our demands:
Stop powering Trump’s voter elimination tool, and kick Trump’s voter elimination lists off Amazon servers.
Stop letting ICE, Palantir, DHS, and other fascists use Amazon data centers.
Stop giving money to politicians who lie about election results.

Election sabotage is like a machine: Trump might push the start button, but corporations provide key parts of the engine.

By throwing sand in the gears or pulling out some cogs, we can stop that machine.

Here's a first step you can do right now — send a message to Amazon’s top investors telling them to stop powering election sabotage attempts.

Comment “letter” and we’ll DM you our tool that makes it quick and easy.

Have you read the new Hidden Heist California report yet? This report by EBASE and PowerSwitch Action uncovers what it looks like when corporate landlords and real estate interests bring their playbook to our cities and towns — and it’s alarming.

In California, the California Apartment Association (CAA) and corporate real estate interests are champions of the corporate playbook, having spent nearly $300 million over the last decade and sponsoring notoriously deceptive mailers and TV ads to block community-led efforts to improve protections for renters at the state level. And some of our country’s largest corporate landlords like Blackstone and its subsidiaries, Essex Property Trust, and Avalon Bay Communities have collectively sent millions to power these campaigns.

But our latest report shows that they haven’t stopped there: In recent years, the CAA, along with corporate landlords and realtors, have swooped into smaller cities and towns like Concord, Salinas, Fairfax, and San Anselmo – using egregious buys, bullies, and bamboozles to block community efforts wherever residents dare to set renter protection policies stronger than state law.
