YouTube: Been a bit quiet on here… I hope everyone is in good health. I’ve been putting some time into YouTube lately which has been hard work but also enjoyable and rewarding. Quite like my running! If you're interested, the link is in my bio but also I'm sure you can find me by searching Prefontame. by @prefontame
Peak Week And It Was Surreal And Shocking. It started with a Storm, then hill repeats with a head/chest cold, then a wasp tried to take me out in the most bizarre way... Then Ciara passed. Rest in Peace Hero.🤍 ... and later that day, I somehow got a big pyramid session done. I've just taken 2 days complete rest. 1.5 weeks out now. - - - - - - - Full Video on YouTube in the morning. Link in bio if you want to subscribe. Thanks to everyone who has subscribed and brought me closer to that 1k subs goal. #peakweek #runhard #pyramidintervals #hillrepeats #longrun by @prefontame

🌧 It's been a good block though. 👌 I hope they have proof flavoured pudding at the race though. A soaking wet, cold and stormy Saturday long run. #longrun #runhappy #runningreels #runchat #irun by @prefontame
Well, I'm Not An Ultra Runner! Every long trail run starts with a plan. Mine sometimes starts with a train pass in my pocket... just in case. Today "just in case" became "definitely needed." One of the joys of running is occasionally getting completely carried away. #trailrunning #longrun #runningvlog #irishrunner #adventurerun by @prefontame

This was a 9×1K session… and the make‑or‑break moment hit right after the 7th rep. Lactate building. Legs burning. Rest period feeling way too short. That’s the point where you either switch off… or lean in. I want no regrets in November for my next attempt at a Sub-40 10K. Never gets easier at 48 years of age but somehow I stayed in it. Begging for it to finish but refusing to back off. Moments that build Sub‑40 legs. #running #10ktraining #sub40 #intervaltraining #speedwork by @prefontame
12 x 800m last Saturday. Sub 40 10K training. ----------- ----------- If you have time today check my YouTube channel and give me a subscription please 🫡 I know not all use YouTube but those that have an account and can support me with a subscription, it would be much appreciated.
