We’re hiring: Intermediate and Senior Brand Designers We’re looking for super-creative designers who love brand, design, variety and working collaboratively. People ready to get stuck in and make something magic. We’re a venture and innovation studio based in Tāmaki Makaurau, and a little oddly shaped, which makes this a unique opportunity. Design is at the heart of everything we do. We value creative and cultural fit above years of experience. This is a role to grow into and make something special for the long term. Full details and how to apply: link in bio. Or email jobs@previously.co with why the role excites you, your questions, and your portfolio. We love a mix of professional work and personal experiments. by @previously.unavailable
Our creativity and innovation scholarship with @autuni is back. Applications are now open for our Māori and Pacific scholarship, supporting more pathways into creative careers across design, brand and innovation. It covers two years of full tuition and student fees, around $20,000, and this year we’ve also added $3,000 towards transport, health and wellbeing through an @extraordinary_global card, to help with some of the other costs that can make study harder. We were originally inspired by @special_group to do our bit to create more access to the creative industry, and we’d love to invite more businesses across the industry to get involved. If you’ve ever thought about offering a full or partial scholarship, send us a DM. We’re happy to share what we’ve learned and how we went about setting ours up. Please share with anyone in your network. Applications close 3 November, link in our bio. by @previously.unavailable
We took to the 'skies' for our annual mid-winter Christmas party. Escaping the cold, we jetted back to the 1960s bound for the South Pacific. An evening entirely curated and crafted by the PU team, complete with our own boarding announcements and in-flight entertainment. by @previously.unavailable
Our next Māori & Pacific Scholarship with @autuni is opening soon, and to share a little about the experience, we sat down with Chanel Leota, the second scholar in the programme.
Chanel is in his second year at AUT, majoring in Design with a minor in Software Development. He’s already freelancing outside his studies for the likes of Nick Kyrgios and US basketball clients including The Next Chapter.
We talked to Chanel about his story, what he’s working towards and where he hopes to take it. Full Q+A via the link in our bio.
We want more Māori and Pacific people to have access to the industry, its networks and the opportunities that can come from those connections. Our scholarship covers two years of fees for creative or innovation-focused study at AUT, alongside mentorship from our team and support connecting into the industry.
Applications for our next scholarship open soon. More details to come. by @previously.unavailable
Almost halfway through 2026 and what better time to get the team together for our annual photo! We are very intentional about growth, wanting to stay as small and tight-knit as we can, while having enough people and diverse talents to do a range of exciting work. Thankful for this wonderful bunch and the incredible project partners who make the work so rewarding. Bring on the rest of the year 🖤 by @previously.unavailable
Hot off the press: our latest rebrand for @lovespokephone just launched earlier this month ☎️ Spoke gives regulated teams at many large international companies, like Hilton and Ikea, the tools to have great conversations, every time, whether talking to customers over WhatsApp, SMS, or on calls on the go or at the desk. Jason Kerr, Co-Founder at Spoke, came to us for a new brand strategy, identity and website as they evolved the next stage of their business. The brand idea of ‘Conversations that move your business forward’ sparked a brand world inspired by mid-century design, reflecting corporate optimism and progress. The identity system has a suite of active symbols of communication and graphic shapes inspired by modernist designers – high-contrast forms, simplified shapes, and expressive asymmetry. Along with the rebrand, we were very lucky to be able to shoot original photography for the website at their stunning offices at The Formery, and film the brand video for their launch at the Twilio Conference in San Francisco last week. We’re proud to be supporters of Spoke through Brand Fund 2 and as equity partners as Previously, and can’t wait to see where the team take this next! by @previously.unavailable
Our latest brand and website project for Simfuni has just launched. We worked together to create an orchestration motif for the brand to convey how their product orchestrates software in insurance to provide better experiences for their clients and end users. Check out the brand in all its glory at simfuni.com by @previously.unavailable
🫐 We worked with @nibblish to turn healthy snacking into a more emotional idea built around the simple invitation to nourish your life. 🥭 Check out the full case study at previously.co by @previously.unavailable
More money = more options. This one’s for the girlies (and everyone else) closing the wealth gap 👀 Such a fun project with @ms.simran.kaur and the @friendsthatinvest team to rebrand for their next stage of growth — helping the brand ‘grow up’ without losing the charm that built a community of 600k+ (and that’s just on Instagram). 🌸 Full case study at previously.co🌸 by @previously.unavailable

Yeoooooowwwwwww! Go team Tracksuit! We are so pumped for the Tracksuit team and their $42m Series B. They have built one of the best cultures, businesses and brands to come out of Aotearoa. What a run, and it’s only just getting started. Today they serve 10,000 brands but there are so, so many more consumer brands wanting and needing to measure and amplify the power of brand-building, and we can’t wait to see where this team take it next. 4 years ago it was 4 epic humans, Connor, Matt, Hamish and Mikayla in our studio, and today they have 4 global offices and 150 track stars. Imagine where you will take it in another four 💚💜 by @previously.unavailable
We always love working with people doing bold new things in the world, especially when it’s helping create a breakthrough role in a tough category. A big congrats to our friends at @tika.nz on their soft launch and revealing their new brand identity. Tika is NZ’s first legal charity taking action against sexual harm. Their AI powered reporting platform and free legal service will offer a bold new pathway to justice through collective action. A new strength in numbers approach. We worked with their team to create a brand that was bold and courageous, but equally warm and compassionate, holding space for the weight and sensitivity of the topic while signalling a new stance of steadfast confidence. We’re so proud to support Tika and the impact they’ll have in the world (product launching August 2025). Check out the full case study via the link in our bio. by @previously.unavailable
