We are honored that Worksight Japan featured Studio O+A’s projects, McDonald’s and Slack, in their publication “Way of Work, Spaces for Work”. The Culture Chapter where our projects are featured explores how workplace culture is more crucial than ever, evolving alongside the shift to a hybrid work model—a balance of office and remote work that has become the new norm post-pandemic. Primo Orpilla wrote an opinion piece at the end of the chapter that accompanies a guide to typologies of work, discussing new typologies that have emerged to react to shifts in the workplace post-pandemic.

Earlier this spring, Primo traveled to New York for this year’s Design Nation Conference, where he led an executive seminar and joined Princeton students for a conversation on Studio O+A’s journey.

The theme for the conference was “Morph”, and the integration of design with business. The discussion touched on engineered serendipity, democratic design, access to natural light, and the ways workplaces can foster connection and community.

We’re excited to share that Primo will join Design Nation 2026 with his talk, Redefining the Workplace.

Hosted by Business Today and Princeton University, the conference brings together students from around the world to explore this year’s theme, “MORPH,” which looks at how design evolves, adapts, and transforms. Primo will participate in a executive seminar on how interior design shapes culture, collaboration, and innovation.

From sketch → screen → team, here’s a look behind the design of something special for our studio!

We pulled apart our dimensional plus symbol and rebuilt it as an expanded floor plan, then brought it to life on hoodies and t-shirts.

Huge thanks to our neighbors and SF’s oldest screen printer, Babylon Burning (@babylonburninginc) for printing these for us!! They turned out so good!!➕✨
