While painting this, I could hear his voice, see his mannerisms, and replay every video you ever posted of him in my mind. The laughter, the energy, the bond between y’all… it was real in a way that everybody around you could feel.

@princessprettyd As your friend, watching you grieve someone who was not only your father, but truly your best friend, is heartbreaking. And while painting him, I realized this portrait was never just about recreating a picture… it was about honoring a love that still fills every room, every memory, every part of you. Love you girl ❤️

My Best friend, my favorite person in the world, the love of my life passed away yesterday… my daddy is gone! No im not ok, just thought i’d let y’all know… i don’t want phone calls. A text is cool.
