Hey everyone! It’s about time I introduce myself. Here’s some info about me⬇️ My name is Divina Carrasco, and I’m a mobile hair and makeup artist based in Calgary, specializing in special events and bridal. I’ve been doing this for 5 years now and have my makeup + hair session styling certification from Artists Within Makeup Academy. I’ve learned a lot through my retail cosmetic career and am grateful as it has helped me grow my product knowledge, and people skills. Some of the places I’ve worked have been at Shoppers Beauty Boutique, Chanel Beauty and MAC Cosmetics. When I first started back in 2021 I joined several bridal teams that have helped me grow in the industry and taught me valuable techniques I didn’t learn in school. I aim to make my clients feel comfortable with me and my skills. No matter your skin tone or age I’m here to make your vision come to life. I try to be intentional with my application and product choices to ensure it elevates and enhances the features for your unique style. It’s important to me that you have an elevated and easy experience when it comes to your hair and makeup. As a calm and positive presence I make sure you have support and care in every step of the way. I hope to connect with you soon for your next event. For bookings, please email or fill out the form on my website! Work life balance of a makeup artist 🤷🏻‍♀️🎨 My schedule might look a little bit different, so I might happen to be at Disney on a random Tuesday but I always show up for my clients on the weekends ✨🎡 #calgarymua #yychmua #calgarymakeup by @prisma_divina

Sweet A! What a fun day it was, started off with a calm morning at their beautiful home. A’s husband to be was there while we got her and her sister ready, and the whole time he couldn’t contain his excitement. Lots of jokes were shared and I knew it would be a fun day. You could really feel the love between them that morning. I’m grateful to be apart of these special moments before they go off to get hitched. Thank you for having me be a part of your day . Sometimes things just happen to unfold perfectly🌸✨. I met Ferdousy at MAC and she was looking for a MUA literally two days before her wedding, luckily I was available and I was able to do her hair and makeup. She was easy going and was trusting of the process, I made sure to schedule extra time since we didn’t have a preview booked before her wedding. We ended up having more time and I did my best helping her with her sari and dupatta, it’s amazing how a piece of fabric can become beautiful formal wear 🤩. Although this situation worked out, it doesn’t always happen that way. As wedding vendors we tend to book out a year in advance and a lot of us also assist other artists if we end up having free dates. That’s why it’s important to inquire with the artists you want a year prior to secure your date before it gets snatched up. For 2027 Brides, I’m looking forward to meeting you soon, for inquiries please fill out the form on my website or email carrascodivina@gmail.com. #calgarybride #yycmua #calgarybridal by @prisma_divina
