For Nicholas Wolken, turning is more than snowboarding’s foundation. It’s the simplest expression of what riding is all about. And from going pro to shaping snowboards made for turns, he’s spent much of his life chasing the deep feelings that come with carving on snow. Sure, the act of turning might be simple. But when mind, body, and board collide in a perfect toeside, simple has never felt more supernatural. Watch “Simple As A Turn” now through Patagonia’s YouTube. Some people make a living from their craft. Others can’t live without it. In a 16th century mill in the Chamonix valley, Peter and Anati run Le Moulin des Artistes: a ski workshop, art space, and gathering place for like-minded free spirits. Whether it’s in Peter’s handmade wooden skis or Anati’s paintings and music, Le Moulin des Artistes shows us what happens when you devote your life to creative expression. How it can bring purpose, build lasting community, and even help overcome disaster. Watch our new film on the Patagonia yt channel. The Last Observers - Patagonia Films Since 1987, Karin and Lennart watched and recorded the weather every third hour, day and night, seven days a week, every day of the year, from their station by the lighthouse in Falsterbo, Sweden. Earning “a lousy salary, and a fantastic life” they remained steadfast through childbirth, illness and snowstorms—not missing a single observation in 36 years—while thousands of stations around the world fell to automation. Told through the eyes of their daughter Maja, this extraordinary and heartwarming love story shows lasting happiness exists in profound connection with nature and everyday rhythms. Laxaþjóð | A Salmon Nation - Patagonia Films Our relationship with nature not only defines our history, it shapes our future, too. Yet beneath the surface of Iceland’s fjords, an industrial fish farming method threatens to destroy one of Europe’s last remaining wildernesses. Open net salmon farms wreak havoc on the fragile environments they’re placed in, polluting pristine ecosystems while mistreating the farmed fish and driving local salmon populations to extinction. It’s an industry at odds with Iceland’s untouched landscape, and as a growing local movement has shown, nothing replaces nature. Laxaþjóð | A Salmon Nation tells the story of a country united by its lands and waters, and the power of a community to protect the wild places and animals that helped forge its identity. Take action to ban open-net salmon farming at https://pat.ag/YT/LetsUndoThis. Production company: @eyeforce

Let’s save our home planet 🌍 After ten years of freelancing, I’ve signed a contract with the company that stands for everything I stand for. I’m absolutely thrilled to work as Story Coordinator EMEA at Patagonia Europe, a job I didn’t dare to dream of. Producing and coordinating films, stories and photography that help us reconnect with nature, and fight for it. by @pristine_film
Italian fisherman Paolo Fanciulli tried everything to stop bottom trawlers from destroying the precious underwater meadows and corals of his beloved Mediterranean Sea. For 37 years, he’s denounced them publicly in newspapers, linked arms with environmental organizations and even attacked the trawlers with dinghies himself. Nothing worked—until Paolo comes up with a plan to place more than 800 concrete sculptures on the ocean floor. The art doesn't just create habitats for the fish. It inspires a movement to save the sea from destruction. @patagoniaeurope by @pristine_film
The Custodians - Over the last 40 years, commercial overfishing and bottom trawling have turned Scotland’s once-thriving west coast waters into sparse, lifeless deserts. Patagonia Films’ The Custodians follows the work of four locals from the West Coast of Scotland are reclaiming their natural coastlines. They’re restoring wildlife, creating sustainable industries and showing us how we can work with, not against, our ocean. Watch the full film on YouTube! @seawilding @patagoniaeurope by @pristine_film
Protect the ocean so it can protect us.  Our future is tied to the ocean. Its shared seas connect us through food, culture and sport. The home of amazing, abundant life, it’s also a powerful climate solution. Yet the practice of bottom trawling threatens to destroy this precious resource—bulldozing our ocean floor, undermining small-scale fisheries and deepening the climate crisis. We call on European leaders to end this destructive practice, starting with an immediate ban in marine protected areas and inshore zones. @patagoniaeurope @arthur_neumeier @car_y_mor @seawilding @ocean_alive_org by @pristine_film
