We’re excited to share my family’s short documentary about our daughter @makaylamovingautism and her journey to communicate after being silent for 14 years. Makayla’s Voice: A Letter To The World is out now on Netflix!!!

I would like to thank @jpalpictures and @duncecapcreative for capturing such a special moment for our family. It genuinely felt like we were witnessing a miracle.

Thanks to @jeffjay718 and @heropostatl for their amazing edit. Also Brock from @propermedium for the amazing cinematography. Thank You!

Thanks to the one and only @rogerrosswilliams for joining as our executive producer for this film!

Also special thanks to our other executive producers @rostamzafari and @dylanmulick for helping to put a spotlight on Makayla’s mission to end silence in autism.

I can’t forget the glue to our team @sashalevinsonlefilm . You’ve been an amazing producer and advocate for Makayla. Can’t thank you enough.

Special thanks to @chloegbai and @netflix for believing in this film and supporting throughout.

Lastly I want to thank our family publicist @nakiahicks_ , our impact campaign team @citizenpicmo , our social media handler Natalie Wilson and our sister @anyo904 !

Lastly our family wants to give @roxy.sewell a big thank you for helping our daughter communicate with us in the world. We wouldn’t be here without you!

The documentary is 24 mins so check it out when you have a moment. Please give us a thumbs up and spread the word so we can find more voices! by @prodbyneedlz
