Fort Lauderdale internacional Open 2024 champion 🥇 thank you God🙏🏻👊🏻 Campeão fort Lauderdale internacional open 2024 🥇@cabeca_coachbjj thank you for the great job with my physical preparation #blackbelt #ibjjf #cbjj #God #florida #stcloudfl by @prof_marcel_portilho

The last championship of the year got me thinking about how our bodies age and the dedication it takes to keep doing this sport. As the years go by, it’s clear that our physical limits become more noticeable, but the love for the gentle art stays strong. A lot of competitors, even when dealing with age-related challenges, still commit to teaching, sharing their knowledge and experience with the younger crowd.

Finding time to train and compete becomes super important. With daily responsibilities and commitments to students, squeezing in training sessions takes discipline and planning. But every drop of sweat and every moment on the mat helps build not just our bodies, but our spirits too. There's a vibe of overcoming reminding us that no matter our age, competing is all about celebrating resilience and the passion for jiu-jitsu. Big thanks for my students and my fitness coach @cabeca_coachbjj you are best 👊🏻.
. @genesisbjjusa @genesisbjjbrazil @genesisbjjitaqua @genesis_saomiguelsp @genesisbjjbrasilia @genesisbjjsantoandre @genesisbjjbolivia @genesisbjjrgs by @prof_marcel_portilho

🙏🇧🇷🥋💙 by @prof_marcel_portilho
