In an era of algorithmic divisiveness, my work speaks to a common fragility. Regardless of complexion or beliefs we are all trying to navigate these uncertain, rapidly shifting times. We are placed in an environment where one cannot help but overthink.

What I hear most at shows is: "it's like you got inside my head". It's rewarding to get that response as I try to tap into the collective psyche for those who are willing to look in the mirror🙏

Mexico city, your a truly special place. The hype was real, and real talk, you lived up to being considered one of the best cities in the world. I could post a hundred more photos but those memories live on in my heart.

Thanks so much friends & new amigos for adding to the trip - I'm grateful to have your good energies in my life 🙏🏻

This trip was an escape ahead of today which is my twin brothers 3 year anniversary of his passing. You are always in our hearts and I cannot wait to host a Celebration of Life with 60+ of your closest friends & fam next weekend. Mexico was a good warm up for my liver ✌🏻 by @pskals.art

I got several new followers recently so let me reintroduce myself. Not about my work; let me talk about myself, and the mantras I live by daily:

I am the same person in private relationships as I am in public. That's real authenticity.

I am a suicide survivor: my twin brother passed almost three years ago (Feb 23, 2023). He's on my mind daily and why my work has a strong mental health focus.

I live in the present moment & don't take life too seriously. I am forthright with my feelings, and strongly believe all divisions can be solved with love (and vulnerable communication).

I move fast when it comes to my art business & gallery. I'm direct and think quickly. It's not for everyone, but I always have our best interests in my heart.

People + work is my mental health crutch. I do a lot to maintain my health but "Chatty Patty" self-medicates with good people. Self-aware individuals who lead with compassion & kindness, and no ego are who I'm naturally attracted to.

I'm 89% self-aware & I don't project my problems onto others. And the 11% when I get it wrong, I fact check myself with true friends.

Stay real vs reel, and lead this short life with love & authenticity.

Keep shining all 🫶🏻🙏🏻

About last Saturday..

Signed 3 new artists for Dopamine gallery, met 30 amazing energies, showcased my work at a beautiful gallery, and had a blast at a very well attended and organized event 🫶🏻

Oh, and I showcased by man @416artistry - not because I'm making $ off him at Dopamine that hasn't opened yet - because he deserves his neon shine. Wouldn't sell it, it's mine! But I did get him several leads✌🏻

New work for show : "Psych 201" | mixed media on canvas | 40x48" framed | available, DM for inquiries by @pskals.art

C⁸H¹¹NO² aka Dopamine Gallery opens in June once construction concludes at the new development in Mirvish Village, Toronto.

At my gallery we do things differently. And we break the rules & pretentiousness of an antiquated gallery business.

I have already locked in a dozen talented artists on 2 week pop ups where they get 60-75% commission & the benefits of my marketing background, small business consulting & social media strategy. Oh, and all at a high visibility & high traffic gallery.

This isn't about me, it was supposed to be just my art - but I got too much love for other artists to not prop them up.

Much love & gratitude for my artist peers, & empathy for the trust-fund galleries whose business models I'm gonna work hard to break down✌🏻

I don't normally get too political on this platform but..

Enough is enough. People of all races, creeds, ethnicities and walks of life, stand up together against the Trump administration.

The world needs love, support & empathy right now, not more uneducated hatred dividing us further apart.

We live in an incredible time, with access to social media to unite us & bring justice to those trying to replicate dictatorial templates of history's dark past.

Alone we are nothing. Together we are the most powerful army in the world.

My thoughts & prayers are with noble American & Iranians losing their lives to show the world what a "wallflower" really looks like.

Much love & respect 🙏🏻🫶🏻👊🏻

It's a cold world. And I'm a fragile human broken by the suicide of my twin brother, simply trying to do good.

I am more resilient than I thought & live each day like it's the last - advocating for mental health, preaching good energy & being the best support I can be to my friends, fam & new family in the small business community.

Much love & gratitude: your energy & presence in my life keeps me afloat in a world going to $h*t quickly thanks to large male egos w/ small ____'s.
