Ambassador for the Arts. I help people remember the power of music and art to transform their lives through books, live performance and teaching.

POSTS STORIES REELS

I use writing and my bands to examine my own visceral and ephemeral experiences of the voice - how it resonates in my body and connects me to myself and the world - as both a spiritual and political act. Drawing on Pauline Oliveros’s concept of Deep Listening as well as other Somatic practices and musical traditions which center creating a collective trance state for healing, I aim through these concerts to bring audiences closer to themselves and our shared humanity.

Well Pony clearly took a liking to @drum_tone_speak 🤣 @terzicbrandon might be a little jealous but that’s ok because she also tried to eat one of Dan’s shakers. Good thing I noticed the slightly irregular rattling before it was too late.

You can’t see this quartet but the trio will be playing Sunday at 7pm @shapeshifterlab So if you haven’t bought your tickets yet, grab them now. Link is in my bio.
