A forgotten idea from the 1970s, brought back to life. The Neprosolar is a solar-powered, rechargeable digital watch inspired by a concept watch from the 1970s ā€” now rebuilt with modern electronics. For these images I wanted to lean into that retro-futuristic character, creating a red pixel-inspired background to echo the early digital era. And the watch even arrives in what looks like a time capsule. Very cool. Big thanks to Morten ā€” @pylsogram ā€” for letting me photograph this one. #Neprosolar #WatchPhotography #ProductPhotography #DigitalWatch #RetroDesign by @pylsogram

Had fun Ā«workingĀ» at @urtjenesten last week. Thatā€™s a great place to have your watch service done. And Donā€™t worry, I donā€™t touch your watches, I had my own projects ;) the team there are enthusiastic and very skilled watchmakers, and they have great pride in their work. #watchmaker #urmaker #oslo by @pylsogram
I find the journey of @richard_benc and his brand @studio.underd0g really appealing, as itā€™s fun, serious, at a amazing price level, what a great success for a microbrand with #outofthebox thinking. Fun fun fun. As I am a part of the Norwegian brand DeSander, Iā€™m impressed and would like to follow his tracks with some kind of success like Richard has done, even though our brand has different design language and more, but anyway Just amazing. Wristshot Saturday: Square silhouettes & retro tech. ā±ļøšŸŽ§ Before smartwatches became disposable screens, 2010 gave us the square iPod Nano on a wrist strap. Pair that with Gothenburgā€™s take on mechanical permanenceā€”the E.C. Andersson Timepodā€”and the contrast speaks for itself. On the wrist, the 38mm bead-blasted 316L case wears remarkably compact: ā€¢ 9.5mm ultra-slim profile keeping the center of gravity low ā€¢ 43mm lug-to-lug footprint that sits flush without overhang ā€¢ Box-domed sapphire anchored by 6 exterior perimeter posts ā€¢ Sailcloth-patterned strap keeping it light and grounded for daily wear One was built for a quick tech cycle; the other is engineered to tick indefinitely. Swipe through to see the dual wrist setup. Which slide captures the vibe bestā€”1, 3, or 4? šŸ‘‡ #wristshotsaturday #wristcheck #ecandersson #timepod #womw watchesofinstagram microbrandwatch klocksnack svenskaklockor retrostyle industrialdesign by @pylsogram

Chassis engineering & hardware: T1 Case NĀŗ 12. āš™ļøšŸ‡øšŸ‡Ŗ Moving away from traditional catalog watch cases, the E.C. Andersson Timepod draws its silhouette directly from heavy Scandinavian industrial architecture and nautical tool engineering: ā€¢ 38mm monobloc chassis in bead-blasted 316L marine-grade stainless steel ā€¢ Ultra-slim 9.5mm case profile with a compact 43mm lug-to-lug footprint ā€¢ Slide-in modular lug bar system secured via side hex fasteners ā€¢ Deeply machined lateral fluting for grip and structural presence ā€¢ Engraved 6-screw caseback protecting the hand-regulated Calibre EC.GO1 ā€¢ Custom brushed deployant clasp bearing the engraved hourglass mark, paired with textured sailcloth-pattern rubber From the lateral case fluting to the clasp tolerances, which detail catches your eye mostā€”slide 1, 4, or 7? šŸ‘‡ #casefinishing #ecandersson #timepod #toolwatch #independentwatches dailywatch klocksnack svenskaklockor watchcollector gothenburg microbrandwatch watchesofinstagram by @pylsogram
