“Good women are for good men…” So people ask — *then why Asiya and Firaun?* Because this verse is about the Akhirah, not the dunya. This world is a test, not the final pairing. Allah sometimes places the purest hearts in the hardest homes. Asiya lived in a palace with the worst tyrant… Yet her faith was stronger than Firaun’s power 💯 She prayed to Allah: “My Lord, build for me a house with You in Jannah” (Quran-66:11) 🌙 Not a palace here — because Akhirah matters more to Asiya. That’s why Allah didn’t honor her husband — He honored *HER* in the Quran. She didn’t ask for dunya justice, she asked for Jannah💫 Because in the end, pure souls will be united with pure companions — forever, without injustice. • Her story shows patience, faith and sincerity. • A bad spouse does NOT mean Allah is displeased • Allah’s true justice is in Paradise, not always in this world • Good women and good men will meet in Jannah — forever, without injustice • She is an example for all believers, not just women • Even angels witnessed her sincerity — that’s why she’s praised in Quran. Faith over comfort. Patience over luxury. Asiya chose Allah and won forever🌙 Comment 🕊️ if Asiya story inspired you. Which part of Asiya’s story surprised you the most? The olive tree isn't just an ordinary tree. In the Quran, Allah describes it as: “A blessed tree — an olive tree…” 📖 Surah An-Nur 24:35 The Arabic phrase is: *شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ — Shajaratim Mubarakah* Allah also says: “By the fig and the olive.” 📖 Surah At-Tin 95:1 The olive tree, scientifically known as Olea europaea, is native to the Mediterranean region and is now widely cultivated across Southern Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and many other parts of the world. 🌳 And this tree is truly remarkable. Olive trees are extremely hardy and drought-tolerant, allowing them to survive in dry Mediterranean climates. Some olive trees can live for hundreds of years, with certain ancient trees believed to be much older. And from its small fruit comes something incredibly valuable Olive oil The Quran beautifully describes its oil: “...whose oil would almost glow, even though untouched by fire.” 📖 Surah An-Nur 24:35 The Prophet ﷺ also said: “Eat olive oil and use it as an ointment, for it comes from a blessed tree.” 📖 Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi 1851 The olive oil has an interesting nutritional profile. Extra-virgin olive oil contains predominantly monounsaturated fats, especially oleic acid, along with naturally occurring compounds such as polyphenols and vitamin E. 🌿Polyphenols have antioxidant properties. 🫀 Replacing some saturated fats with unsaturated fats such as those found in olive oil can support heart health as part of a balanced diet. ✔️Olive oil reduces LDL cholesterol and helps prevent its oxidation, which protects your arteries. ✔️Regular use helps maintain healthy blood pressure levels and reduces the risk of stroke. 🌱 Olive oil is also a major part of the traditional Mediterranean dietary pattern, which has been extensively studied for its association with cardiovascular health. ✔️Fights Inflammation: Strong antioxidants in the leaves reduce chronic swelling and protect cells from damage From its ancient roots in the Mediterranean to kitchens around the world today… This olive tree truly has a remarkable story🤍🌿 Share this with your islamic friend and family🤍 by @qamar_.of_.deen
Eyeliner may be a beauty trend today…but Ithmid was a Sunnah long before modern makeup🖤 Kohl has been used for centuries as a traditional eye cosmetic, especially across the Middle East and North Africa. But Ithmid (إثمد) is more specific than simply saying “kohl.” Ithmid refers to a particular mineral traditionally used to make dark eye kohl. Historically, it was ground into a fine powder and applied around the eyes. In Islamic tradition, Ithmid has a special significance because it was associated with the practice of the Prophet ﷺ. It wasn't described simply as an ornament or beauty product. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Use Ithmid, for it clears the vision and makes the eyelashes grow.” 📖 Sunan an-Nasa’i 5113 So Ithmid became known not only as traditional eye makeup, but also as a Sunnah connected with the Prophet ﷺ. 🦠Bacterial inhibition: Laboratory and animal studies suggest that pure antimony and its nanoparticle combinations can restrict the growth of specific disease-causing ocular bacteria. ✔️UV reduction: Finely ground mineral particles deposited along the lash line can form a physical barrier that helps scatter and absorb intense desert sunlight and UV rays. And nowadays not every product sold as “Ithmid kohl” is necessarily genuine Ithmid. Some traditional kohl products can contain lead, which can be harmful to the eyes and nervous system. So when following a Sunnah involving something applied to the eyes, authenticity and safety both matter. Beauty can be temporary, but reviving a Sunnah can become an act of worship. May Allah help us love, learning and revive the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ. 🌙 Save this reel so you don't forget this Sunnah, and share it with someone who loves Islamic reminders🖤 #kohl #islamicreminders #islam #sunnah #ithmid by @qamar_.of_.deen
AJWA DATES — A SPECIAL FRUIT IN THE SUNNAH 🌴 Ajwa is a special variety of date grown in Madinah, Saudi Arabia and it is known as "king of Dates". But what makes Ajwa particularly interesting is that it was specifically mentioned by the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever eats seven Ajwa dates in the morning, he will not be affected by poison or magic on that day.” 📖 Sahih al-Bukhari 5445 📖 Sahih Muslim 2047b 🌴Ajwa — not simply any date 7️⃣ Seven dates 🌅 In the morning The 'ajwa' dates of 'Aliya' contain healing effects and these are antidote in the early morning. 📖Sahih Muslim 2048 Modern nutritional research shows that dates contain dietary fibre, potassium, magnesium, polyphenols and other bioactive compounds. Dates also show antioxidant activity because of their naturally occurring phenolic compounds. 🌿 Fibre → supports normal digestion and bowel health. ⚡ Potassium & magnesium → important minerals involved in normal muscle and nerve function. 🛡️ Polyphenols → plant compounds with antioxidant activity. 🍽️ Natural carbohydrates → provide a source of energy. The hadith itself gives the specific Prophetic statement about seven Ajwa dates and protection from poison and magic. What makes this Sunnah beautiful is that the Prophet ﷺ gave us a specific food, a specific quantity, and a specific time. 🌴 Seven Ajwa dates. 🌅 In the morning. 🤍A Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Sometimes the smallest Sunnahs carry the most beautiful reminders. Allah knows best. #ajwadates #hadith #allah #islamicreminders #dates by @qamar_.of_.deen
It's called Talbina (التلبينة) Talbina is a soft porridge traditionally prepared from barley flour or barley bran, usually cooked with water, honey or milk. And this isn't just a random traditional food… Aisha رضي الله عنها used to prepare it for people who were grieving or sick. She said: “The Talbina soothes the heart of the patient and relieves him from some of his sadness.” 📖 Sahih al-Bukhari 5417 📖 Sahih Muslim 2216 Benefits of Barley: 🌾 Barley is naturally rich in dietary fibre, including Beta-glucan. 🫀 Beta-glucan plays a major role in heart health and cholesterol management. 🩸 Barley fibre may also help support healthier blood-glucose responses. Blood Sugar Control: Features a low glycemic index, which prevents rapid blood sugar spikes and helps maintain stable insulin levels. 🦠 Its fibre can support digestive health and the gut microbiome. So Talbina isn't a “miracle cure” for depression or illness. But it is a nutritious barley-based food with an authentic Prophetic tradition behind it. A simple bowl of Talbina… A Sunnah from the household of the Prophet ﷺ… And a reminder to care for hurting hearts. 🌾🤍 Sometimes, Sunnah teaches us that caring for someone isn't only about medicine… It's also about feeding them, comforting them and reminding them that they're not alone. 🤍🌾 Follow for more islamic videos💫 #talbina #sunnah #islam #islamicreminders #islam by @qamar_.of_.deen
This tiny stick isn’t just a toothbrush… it’s a whole chemical package. 🌿 The Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ known as Miswaq comes from Salvadora persica. And scientists have found that this plant contains compounds such as fluoride, tannins, alkaloids, flavonoids, sulphur-containing compounds and other substances associated with oral hygiene. But here’s what makes it even more interesting… 🦷 Its natural fibres provide mechanical cleaning — physically helping remove plaque. 🦠 Studies have found antibacterial and antiplaque activity associated with miswak. 🪥 Clinical research suggests miswak can reduce dental plaque and gingivitis. And this was a Sunnah centuries before modern oral-care products. The Prophet ﷺ said: “If it were not that I would cause hardship for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the Siwak with every prayer.” 📖 Sahih al-Bukhari 887 And a Sunnah that was encouraged by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So don't let a small Sunnah become a forgotten Sunnah. Revive it. Practice it. Pass it on. 🌿 Allah knows best. Hijama, also known as wet cupping therapy, is a traditional treatment in which special cups are placed on the skin to create suction. It has been practiced for thousands of years in different civilizations and holds a special place in Prophetic Medicine (At-Tibb an-Nabawi). The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Indeed, the best treatment you have is cupping (Hijamah)." — Sahih al-Bukhari (5696), Sahih Muslim (2205) He ﷺ also said: "Healing is in three things: a drink of honey, the incision of a cupping instrument, and cauterization with fire, but I forbid my nation from cauterization." — Sahih al-Bukhari (5680) HEALTH BENEFITS : ✔️ Improving local blood circulation ✔️ Promoting relaxation and stress relief ✔️Treating Arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis. ✔️For Back pain, neck pain, knee pain and shoulder pain. ✔️For Asthma and other breathing issues. ✔️Carpal tunnel syndrome. ✔️Gastrointestinal (GI) disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) Headaches and migraines. ✔️High blood pressure (hypertension). ⚠️ Important reminder Hijama should always be performed by a trained and qualified practitioner using sterile equipment. It's called Senna, also known as Sana Makki. Long before modern medicine identified sennosides as the active compounds in senna, this plant was already known and used as a remedy. Senna (Sana Makki) is a flowering medicinal plant whose dried leaves and pods have been used for centuries as a natural remedy for constipation. Today, senna is still widely used in medicine and is the source of natural compounds called sennosides, which are commonly found in laxative medicines. What did the Prophet ﷺ say? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Use senna and sanut, for indeed they contain healing." 📖 Reference: Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 3457. Medicinal benefits of Senna: ✔️ Helps relieve occasional constipation by stimulating bowel movements. ✔️ Commonly prescribed before certain medical procedures, such as colon examinations, to help empty the intestines. ✔️ Contains natural compounds called sennosides, which are the active ingredients responsible for its laxative effect. Important reminder Senna is not meant for daily or long-term use unless advised by a healthcare professional. Overuse may lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, or dependence on laxatives. As Muslims, we believe that medicines are only a means. True healing comes from Allah alone. "And when I am ill, it is He who cures me." Allah never called us Sunni or Shia. He called us Muslims. Hold firmly to the rope of Allah and do not become divided. -Quran 3:103 And do not be among those who associate others with Allah, those who divided their religion and became sects, each party rejoicing in what it has. — Quran 30:31–32 Our differences should never make us forget our shared faith. The Quran reminds us to hold fast to Allah's guidance, avoid division, and treat one another as brothers and sisters in Islam. May Allah unite the Ummah upon the Quran and the authentic Sunnah.
