Standing Kill Order V10

30 minutes after topping my first double I got my second one. Stoked to finally stop the blood sacrifice this boulder always demanded of me. by @qrimpin

I’m Sick. Again.

I hate sharing something like this on the internet. It’s scary to put yourself out there for everyone, but sometimes that’s the best way to be real with yourself, showing fear is only human after all.

In late April 2026, I started experiencing some weird symptoms. I gained about 10 lbs in a week, out of nowhere. I chalked it up to slacking on my workouts and brushed it off as my own neglect, so I coped the only way I knew how: training harder, adding extra cardio to an already heavy load, and dieting even more aggressively. Weeks passed with no change. I kept gaining weight as my body grew more fatigued and undernourished. By the time I’d gained 30 lbs, I knew this wasn’t neglect. Something was wrong.
My body started to shut down. I couldn’t move. I lay in bed in a fetal position, too exhausted to even get up and use the bathroom, for days before I finally admitted I needed to go to the hospital. Once admitted, doctors suspected my kidneys and ordered a biopsy. The diagnosis: Minimal Change Disease (MCD) — common in children, rare in adults. It causes protein to leak out through urine, which throws off your body’s water balance and leads to severe, unrelenting swelling.

All of this hit right around my college graduation in mid-May 2026. I was fighting for my health in a hospital bed while trying to study for finals — four years of work, and I wasn’t about to let it go to waste. I pushed my doctors to discharge me as fast as they safely could. I walked out of the hospital two hours before I walked the stage. I barely had the energy to sit through the ceremony, but I walked anyway. In five days, I’d dropped 30 lbs of water weight. My body was in shambles.

Climbing took the hardest hit. My muscles just didn’t work anymore. I could barely do a pull-up. I had to rebuild from scratch — basic bodyweight movements, slowly progressively overloading my body while my kidneys fought to recover. I had no idea how long it would take to feel like myself again, but I kept showing up to the unknown every day, because that was the only thing I could do.
By July, I was almost back. I could engage my core, hold tension, string together a few pull-ups. I moved by @qrimpin

7 Fingers V10

Checked out a really fun compression bloc today. Such a beautiful rock and scenery with real fun movement.

On longer power boulders i’ve found that rapid firing beta burns to get every move dialed before piecing it all together with some well rested send burns have been my highest win rate strat . I also used @rungne_official maglock that was critical to give me the friction i needed on the slopers.

Camel Toe V9

Cruxy slab moves were only fun once I did it.

I had key micro beta changes to get over the lip. First was pointing my left foot into the wall to stand up tall, instead of treating the move like a rock over. Second I grabbed some crystals that were side pulling and stayed passive on it, shifting my weight in my hips over to the left so I could move my right hand and right foot up and the moves after were pretty easy. I also pushed hard on my right hand like a dip motion to help rock my weight over to the left and stand up. by @qrimpin

Fun lowball narrow squeezer. I enjoyed squeezing the life out of something to fall on the first move and somehow doing the entire thing 30 minutes later. by @qrimpin
