It’s time for the sixty-eight (so close!) episode of The Queens Comic Podcast! In this reasonably late episode, Billy and Ian complain about the state of the world and various other things. Billy shows off three books and rants a lot, occasionally in extreme close up (woh!) while Ian has a typically big old pile of books. You wanna see some Love And Rockets? Some Omaha? What about some Razor? Do you like Uncle Scrooge? Ass-eating zombies? Then this is the episode you’ve been waiting for. Oh, and Ian shows off a big bronze age horror key that we’ve completely spoiled in the preview image. Also there’s a lot more Johnny Ryan than usual and, of course, some Nancy And Sluggo. It’s just as scatter brained as disjointed as you’d expect, so give it a gander! https://youtu.be/RGIc_vDltwQ https://spotifycreators-web.app.link/e/avtxHOI8LZb Follow us on Instagram @queenscomicpodcast / @thequeenscomicparty Check us out on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@queenscomicpodcast Or hit up our website at http://www.queenscomicparty.com #comics #comicbooks #queenscomicpodcast #queenscomicparty #undergroundcomics marvelcomics dccomics comicpickups horror horrorcomics absolutebatman loveandrockets johnnyryan by @queenscomicparty

The internet’s most inconsistently scheduled comic book podcast is back, and this time there’s a lot to say about recent shows in The Bronx, New Jersey and, of course, the latest Queens Comic Party (we had a food drive!), on top of the usual banter. Ian engages in some shameless self promotion and shows off a Shaw Brothers Blu-ray boxed set he contributed too before showing off a big stack of comics - everything from sleaze to Disney to Paul Pope’s THB and some classic pre-code goodness, while Billy just has a lot to say about a lot of things in general. Hey now, it’s time to talk about NYCC 2025, the whole Mark Spears Monsters blind bag thing and show off some pretty rad pick ups from various locations, online and not, over the last two weeks. Is there more Johnny Ryan than usual in this episode? There’s no such thing as too much Johnny Ryan, but there might be too much Uncle Scrooge! Throw in some weird manga, undergrounds and mainstream stuff and you’ve got yourself a pretty great episode. DIG IN! Three weeks in a row? What’s going on here! This time around, it’s something different! Billy’s got a stack of books and he doesn’t know if he should keep them or sell them off. Ian gives him bad advice, and then shows off his pick ups for the week (spoiler alert - there’s a lot of Mister X and maybe some Nancy and Sluggo too). We’re late, and this time, extra bitchy! OLD MEN YELL AT CLOUDS! This time around, after Ian went to Texas with Europeans and Billy went to Philly and hung out with Christopher Lloyd, they go over Ian’s experiences at CradleCon in long Island, the recent Wayne, NJ show and a bunch of pick ups. Billy talks about his experiences at a few local card shows, and what went right and what didn’t. Better late than never, right? The Queens Comic Podcast is back! This time there’s lots of talk about the season finale of Daredevil: Born Again, Superman Day 2025 and the recent R. Crumb/Dan Nadel talk that happened in New York City. All this and plenty of oddball pick-ups, mainstream pick-ups and all of the (generally good natured) comic book banter you’ve come to expect. Hey now! It’s episode 51 of The Queens Comic Podcast! This time around, Ian goes over his latest pick ups including, shockingly, some E.C. stuff and some Charlton horror books as well as a Ric Flair comic and the elusive last five issues of Sam Kieth’s The Maxx while Billy shows off a crazy collection of vintage comic book promo ‘stuff’ from the nineties before the guys engage in a discussion about upcoming MCU and DC film properties.
