If you’re already part of the flower CSA this year, THANK YOU. If you haven’t joined our Flower CSA this year yet, there’s still plenty of summer ahead.
Each week’s bouquet reflects what’s blooming right here in our area, including bright sunflowers, snapdragons, lisianthus, marigolds, celosia, dahlias and other seasonal favorites. It’s a simple way to bring a little bit of the season home while supporting local agriculture. You can join for the remainder of the season here, and prorated options are available to make it easy to jump in whenever you’re ready.

Every bouquet you bring home directly supports immigrant farmers and organizers of color, whose care, skill, and dedication make this work possible. Together we’re helping build a more vibrant, resilient, and connected local community and flower system, one that celebrates the people who grow beauty for our communities.

Dahlia Day has finally arrived! Our dahlias had a rough season. It was too rainy for them, they are late arrivals this year! 📸 @jenhsu79 by @queensperennial

Dahlias, they’re around for a good time, not a long time. What @heyseemal is trying to say in her guest appearance is there’s a few important things we like to remember when we bring dahlias home:
1. Washing your vase with soap and water. If you can’t do that then add a half teaspoon of bleach or clear liquor.
2. Keeping your dahlias out of the sunlight, the sun will age them faster.
3. Keeping dahlias in the fridge at night or in a cooler spot in your house.
