A super casual trip to Duoro Valley with #BLHeritage.

About 1.5hrs away from Porto is what’s considered Portugal’s wine country: Duoro Valley. One of the vineyards we visited was @quintadafoz1872 where the guide shared the inner workings of what it takes to harvest grapes during the harvesting season, hosted a tasting, and offered insight into what pairs well with each style that we tasted.

We later when on a boat tour of the Duoro River, where the guides gave insight into the different vineyards along the river & shared some bites & a light refreshing beverage before our hosted lunch.

Overall, a great choice join a trip like this because of the intimate setting and the different settings of each part of the trip made is so impactful.

At Quinta de Foz in the Douro Valley, I got to join in on a unique experience of a true old-world grape stomp, just like in the classic I Love Lucy episode. Only this time it was real life, not TV magic. It was a dream come true, and for a moment, I genuinely felt like I was part of the winemaking tradition itself (outfit and all).

The experience @quintadafoz1872 was dream come true during harvest season in Portugal. We toured, tasted and tromped on the grapes. 🍇

If this experience sounds like what you would love to do, contact me and I can help you make it come true. ✨
