So I received some flowers today 🤗

It was a big beautiful bouquet with,

Lillys
Roses
Chresenthimums ( purple & pink)
Gypso
Cane palm

They arrived wrapped in sheets of plastic & lots of tape to hold the blooms together.

Granted that is one of the most convenient ways for flowers to travel esp from a flower shop straight into the car and onwards.

But they get really squished & unhappy in that confined sitch.

So once I got the bouquet

I …

- took off all the plastic
- placed the stems on the side gently.
- Filled 2 vases with clean water
- started cleaning the stems of all the leaves esp the ones that would be below water level.
- gave each stem a clean cut / ofc
- started placing them with love in the vase one by one
- making sure they were spread out nicely & not getting crowded in their new home.
- placed them in a cool spot & away from direct sunlight.

Quite pleased with the results & enjoying my happy flowers 🫶

Love, Nazy

P.S you can do the same when you receive flowers xx

Your flower girl here

Sending bouquets with love to your loved ones and you 💜

By mid 2025 I had started incorporating sustainable floristry practices in my arrangements & bouquet deliveries.

Which means absolutely no flower foam 🚫🙈🙉🙊🙅🏻‍♀️

Which means my favorite large flower baskets were not part of the plan 🙄 As they need copious amounts of foam 🥺😱

So this means that my arrangements come to you either in resuseavke containers , hand tied with a string or ribbon no wrapping or paper wrapping.

I fully Understand that most people like big wrappings & lots of paper covering the blooms esp if it’s a gift to be sent.

But I really try to convince my lovely clients to do it the raw way. No paper no foam no commercial wrappings #.

I really hope we can make some difference together 🫶☮️✌🏼

Love you & Thank you for being around 💜🤍💜 big love, Nazy

A little behind the scenes before bringing the bloom bar to you 💜

Oh and I finally saw The Devil wears Prada today. It was an easy watch & I kind of liked how the characters transitioned.

Alright then

See you later with our Bloombar at your place or mine 😎

This one was for a very Trendy Mahjong event at the @theeditroom.dxb

Loved curating the pallet matching the tiles.

P.S #this post was not written with the help of AI. Maybe that’s why it’s so wonky
