POSTS STORIES REELS

5 years ago today, #KawalSoldierofthePeople made it’s debut. And while this is one of life’s greatest achievements, I feel I’ve let the fans down in being consistent in continuing the series. For that, I apologize. My promise to you is that we bring Kawal’s story back and continue what I started. Thank you to all of you for the continued support. Thank you to my friends for always blowing me up. Thank you to @lumpiamovie for keeping me busy and allowing Kawal to make appearances in their #deepfrieduniverse. And thank you all for just believing in me. So much love going out to all of you!! #lfdfcomics #kapwakomiks #pinoy #pilipino #filipino #filam #pinoykomiks #filipinokomiks #filipina by @qvtheartist

Sometimes it takes a different kind of motivation to push through. This time around, a muse appeared and helped me rethink some things. For a time, I looked at #Mayari and felt that my original design for her was a bit bland. When the “Issue 0 Remaster” hits the press, we’re going to be presented with a more intriguing look at Mayari. She’ll be more of a result of her sibling rivalry with #apolaki. Thanks for the inspiration, my muse! #kawalsoldierofthepeople #lfdfcomics #kapwakomiks #pinay #pinoy #filipinokomiks by @qvtheartist

My earliest recollection of Sir Patrick Stewart was his part in “Excalibur” in the early 80’s (probably not the best choice of movie for a 6 year old lol). Then Star Trek: The Next Generation, and of course, X-Men. I even remember when Wizard Magazine fan casted him as Professor X, then years later was actually cast as the Professor. He was always someone that portrayed strength and poise on camera. It was always a pleasure watching him perform. RIP Sir Patrick! by @qvtheartist

11 years ago, I stepped into the Great American Comic Con, here in Vegas, as a first time Comic Con artist. I didn’t have any merch. I had a Star Wars lunch box with some art supplies. I sat down next to @freekflow808 at the LFDF Comics booth and did free sketches and commission work. I think I made like $60 that day. 11 years later, I’ve been to SDCC as an artist 4 times, have shared booth time with some pretty major Marvel and DC artists, have been on panels with people like Whilce Portacio, and have seen my work on the big screen. I’m so grateful for this talent that God gave me and I don’t want this to ever end. I’ll be back. I just need to shake the rust off. Love to all of you who have supported me over the years!!! by @qvtheartist

A few years ago, I entered a contest to submit a t shirt design for Uniqlo. Didn’t win, but I came across this searching for something else on my phone and figured I’d share it. Whatcha think? by @qvtheartist

Guys and Gals!!! I spent so much time talking and not enough doing, so guess what?? I AM OFFICIALLY OPENING UP MY COMMISSION LIST! (And if I promised you something already, you’re first on the list). Here’s a quick pricing: 11”x17” full color: $150, sketch covers full cover (front only) $100. If you want something different, DM me and we can work out a price! by @qvtheartist

I’ve been at this so long, it looks like different artists tackling one character…but this is all me! 10 years worth of building! by @qvtheartist

Circa 2016. I think it’s time I get back in the saddle and remind y’all who’s been here. Let’s get it. #kawalsoldierofthepeople by @qvtheartist

It’s really dope seeing people I know on TV! Check out “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe” on HBO MAX! by @qvtheartist

Today we celebrate the courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit of the Filipino people. 🇵🇭

Filipino Independence Day is more than a date in history. It is a reminder of the sacrifices made for freedom, the strength found in unity, and the pride we carry wherever we go in the world.

May we continue to honor our heritage, uplift one another through kapwa, and inspire future generations to stand tall in their identity, culture, and purpose.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! ❤️💙💛
